Stages of Realization

In my former essay, I gave a general introductory on how to view the world in a completely different way. In this, I will elaborate on how to tell how enlightened other people one. I would like to point out to those that aim to achieve higher levels of realization must do so themselves; it is the only way. Other people telling you how is pointless, because each person must choose their own paths to total enlightment and realization.

Have you ever driven down a road that you drive through regularly, and have everything feel different? It all seems fake and insignificant, and you don't know why. The sky has sort of a haze to it, and when you look at other people perform their day-to-day actions, you observe how different they are. If this has ever happened, then you have pinched through the first layer of realization evolution, the stage that seperates those who live life regularly from those who realize that how they're living is not right. Everything just feels like a dream, and often you wonder if it is one or not. Most people have experienced this first stage realization.

I am estimating that around one out of four people have reached what I call the second layer of realization. In this, someone attempts to change the way that they live as a result of this feeling of fake observed in the first layer. They understand that the road was different because they were looking at it through a neutral point of view, without bias. By viewing everything in a neutral point of view, they aim for peace through compromise instead of senseless fighting, often contradicting themselves by fighting for peace. At this stage the total truth of what is really right is not understood, and therefore people at this stage are often confused with it all, struggling with oneself for truth. This inner-struggle often results in a decline of realization, or sometimes mental illness and suicide. Very rarely, people manage to break the barriers of confusion and achieve even more realization.

The people who do achieve even more realization are at what I call the third layer of realization, which I believe around one out of one thousand have attained. They are very much like those in the second layer, except for the fact that they know what they are doing, and have a sense of understanding instead of confusion. They are often considered geniuses by others, and often get far in life because of their strong sense of integrity. These people stand out, and are perfectly sane, having a great degree of togetherness. They are declared by most people to have great minds, and often publish their thoughts throughout their lives in order to help the general good of all. The meager amount of people who do reach this third stage of realization mainly live happy lives full of satisfaction and happiness. The only real error to this small fraction of the population is the fact that they have limits. Only by removing all limits can one surpass even this great level of realization. Only through intense self-struggle and pushing oneself to insanity and back, can someone attain the fourth layer of realization. According to the few who manage this, sometimes you have to learn to accept the fact that almost everyone around you is too stupid to know what you're talking about. I am estimating that one out of one million have gotten to this state of enlightment and nirvana. They constantly live their life treating almost everthing as insignificant, because to them it really is. They often laugh at what may seem like inapproapriate times, only because they are viewing the big picture of it all, unlike those around them, and know that what is happening is truely senseless, making it funny that those around them are trying so hard for so small a purpose. These people who manage achieve this fourth level are often calm and care-free, observing and analyzing the world around them that seems so pointless that it feels a dream. They live for pleasure, and understand that by giving pleasure to those around them, they themselves have more fun. This is the reason that the people at this layer of realization have attitudes against fighting of all forms, but also understand that sometimes it is necessary to use force to make the opposing views compromise, and only the minimum amount of force required. At this level, they often stare off into space, thinking deeply about something, in order to understand it, because they aim to understand as much as possible. They are easily amused, as a result of finding a sense of beauty in everything around them. These rare people also have a sense of viewing themselves as divine, often feeling at peace with themselves, not caring what strangers think about them. They feel as if they are already in heaven.
