The Evolution of Government:
The earliest form of government (structured government) is monarchy.
In a monarchy one family rules EVERYONE. No one has any real personal responsibility
or liberty. Everyone is taken care of according to the whim of the ruling family.
The next step is socialistic government which, for the sake of argument,
includes communism, authoritism, and totalitarism. In the socialistic nation the
people have revolted against the old monarchy as an expression of personal liberty.
They have also established whom they want to rule to some extent, another
expression of liberty. However, that 'whom' is a big one. They will rule according
to their whims, not to the people's will.
The next evolution is Democracy. A democracy can incorporate capitalism
and/or free-enterprise, however, we will not explore such trifling details at
this time. In a Democracy the people have once again revolted against the ruling
party. This time, they got wiser, and gave themselves rights which couldn't be
taken away (at least not all at once). They made sure that no one person would
stay in power indefinitely. They express their individualistic opinions and liberties.
However, they are still ruled and as in the case of the U.S., the ruling persons
can still politically rape their subservient constituents.
The step which no one has successfully taken yet is anarchy. To me Anarchy
is not a bunch of assholes yelling for the right to kill and rape. To me it is
the ultimate expression of personal responsibility. I know that I am currently
ready to rule myself, I don't depend on a government to give me an outdated moral
system. I am sick of the government telling me who to kill, hate, love, and tolerate.
I think that the people of Earth are ready for the plunge into true
anarchy. Those who are not ready will kill themselves out in the chaos of utopian
reality. Afterwards, we will rebuild and live in peace becuase we can govern
ourselves using inborn morals like flexible honor systems and righting wrongs
on a personal basis instead of enforcing our morals on 'criminals'.
This is what a truly Azlumic community is. People living in peaceful
coexistance, not out of fear of some omnipotent (or impotent) government, but
out of respect for themselves and those they love.
The Evolution of the Id:
Imagine:
A family is killed after their teenage child poisons their
dinner as it is being cooked. All die a horrible death except
for the young son.
When questioned by the police about how he survived even though
he ate the poisoned the food, he answers that he didn't want
to die.
It could happen that one day we can use such control over life and death.
The mind has already controlled sickness and emotional health and as our psychic
maturity rises as we become intimate with cosmic entropy we will express greater
powers in greater frequency.
For you non-Freudians out there I will give a basic description of the
Id and other psychoanalytical terms.
The Id is the most basic part of our mind. The sexual, gluttonous, hateful,
and lustful bastard-child who is constantly screaming for more, More, MORE!
The Ego is the reality-principle. It tells us what is happening in the
real world and bridges that gab between the opposing extremes of the Id and
Superego.
The Superego is our conscience. It is the little angel that opposes
the Id's devil on your shoulders. It tells your ego what is morally correct
to do in a situation. Then the ego creates a compromise between the Id and
Superego.
Now, I don't buy most of Freud's bullshit. I believe in behaviorist
and humanistic/existential dogma. However, the id is a concept which I think
we can all identify with (pun: id from identity from identify).
The Id holds your libido, sexual power, which we all know ebbs and
flows in a painfully chaotic way. It also holds all your hate and love which
grows more powerful day after day. If we learn to tap the Id in ourselves not
only will we control our emotions but we will also have a huge powerbase for
magic, psionics, and Reality.
If we can control our Ids then we can control ourselves and others. Be
careful in the future to not become a puppet on a string, ruled by your Id and
by others. You see, politics, religion, and spirituality are all the same thing.
They attempt to simultaneously control and free us. If you reach an internal
peace you will then cease to be governed and start to govern.
Now, I'm not saying that we should kill emotion. In fact I quite enjoy
being ruled by my emotions, I just think that we should keep them in check and
use them as tools rather than puppet-strings.
