- You and God -

You is you and I is I and that's okay with me. But is it okay with
MAINSTREAM RELIGION? No, it is not. Is it okay with the GOVERNMENT? No, it is
not. They want to keep you subservient, a number, a thing, a puppet.

Nowadays religion is some pretty weak poppy. Unless you like judging others
with a primitive morality system and worshipping an ideal that is not meant
for you to enjoy for free, then you'll probably like Azlum.
Firstly, what is God. Many later essays will say God is a evil creature,
but we must first understand why he ("he" for ease of writing) is evil.
God is the collection of delusional fantasies of Christians, Jews, Catholics, and
the many others out there. God has become a powerful entity because of the
many people giving their souls to him everyday at communion, mass, whatever
you want to call it.
God is an evil spirit, a fat and lazy creature that will attempt to capture
your soul when you die.
If you're upset, good. You probably are picturing that I am insulting the God
that you're taught about in Church, I am not.
The idealistic thinking behind God is that we were created by a beautiful,
kind, and loving father/mother entity that will receive us into paradise when
we die. I quite like this image, but it is a lie. I know this as a fact.
In church we learn how to kill in the name of God, judge in the name of God,
to give up our lives to worship until we die and join in eternal worship for
eternity. This philosophy of life seems a bit shallow and boring to me. Why
can we think, question, love, and hate if all we are supposed to do is
worship?
This brings me to the subject of Jesus Christ. This is a touchy subject. If
Jesus lived, then he was probably the most loving human being ever to grace
this planet's surface. Son of God? I don't believe that Jesus was the son
of God. I believe he wanted to establish a religion of kindness, co-existence,
love, and purity. I applaud him for that, but I don't accept that he died on
the cross for my sins like every southern hick Baptist tells me.
Satan. Whoa, this may be a harder subject than Jesus. Satan was the embodiment
of fear; fear of disobeying the rulers of the land. If you broke a rule, than
Satan would be waiting in you closet. Satan doesn't exist, there are evil entities
but none as two-dimensional as him.
Lucifer is latin for "bringer of light". Does this sound like a bad boogey man?
Satan, Lucifer, whatever is the representation of earthly sin. Light translates
into matter. Like the Cathars believed, before the Catholics exterminated them,
Satan made the Earth and body while God created heaven and the soul.
This is just a small discussion on God and Satan and those trapped between.
I hope it starts some conversation, thinking, and doing. That's what Azlum is
all about.
