Existence and Behavior of the Mind
by NDC
If what I think is correct, all living things have a soul (mind). All souls are equal, but how they behave depends on what brains they are coursed through. Like electricity has different outcomes depending on which circuits they are run, minds/souls act differently depending on which brain they are put through. Don't call me a religious freak; I am an atheist. But what I am talking about here is my personal theory on the meaning of life.
There are two dimensions. One consists of a physical realm; a.k.a. the Universe. The universe mainly consists of inanimate objects but on an almost infinitely sparse basis, the universe has animate (or living) entities. These entities behave by themselves and usually make random decisions. Behaving purely randomly (having a MIND) is unexplained and frankly impossible by the laws of physics, so there must be something *more*, something to govern the way the mind works. To answer these questions, some turn to religion; having an all powerful entity that created the universe, the soul, and governs what happens when we die.
This is an easy way out; a shortcut to answering the meaning of life. Unfortunately it is almost definately untrue; there are thousands of religions out there, proof that anyone can create a religion to find an easy way to solve the meaning of life.
What I think truly happens is that a mind, which permanently exists in an extra dimension, is linked to the brain in order to give the animate object a way to make proper decisions. When we die, our minds are returned to the dimensions, forever freed from physical existence, and can create worlds within itself; total freedom. Anyone that has watched the final episode of Neon Genesis Evangelion will know what I mean.
This is probably untrue; it could just be my easy way out of solving something truly incomprehensible, impossible answer to
-what happens when we die,
-what our minds are,
-what created the universe.
