This article is about the how-to of disabling firewalls, proxies, filters, for example Bess. To do this you must be using Internet Explorer, and your internet should be hooked up through a network, to my knowledge. OK, with that through, onto it.

1) Open Internet Explorer 2) In the address bar, type the following:

C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\Connection Wizard

3) Press Go

4) When you get there, find a program called:

Inetwiz.exe

5) Open the file

6) A window should pop up, click next.

7) On the next window, uncheck all boxes that are checked.

8) Click Next

9) On the next window, it will ask you if you want to set up an e-mail account. You don't. Click the "No" bubble, and hit next.

10) Click finish

11) Close and re-open Internet Explorer

12) Happy Surfing.

I'm not sure what other firewall/filter programs it works on, so try it out. Just watch out for those pesky remote admin spying tools...

From what happens on the computers I've tried them on, when you restart the computer it undoes the changes you made, so as of right now, you will have to do that every time you want to get somewhere online. I suggest only doing it when you really want to, as it will get very annoying. Oh yeah, legal stuff. I hold no responsibility if you ever do this or even get caught. I'm only providing information, and saving my own ass with this.

Do what you want with it. ~TbPlayer
