Kristen, Part Two

All stories on this web site are purely FICTIONAL. The people depicted within these stories only exist in someone's IMAGINATION. Any resemblence between anyone depicted in these stories and any real person, living or dead, is an incredible COINCIDENCE too bizarre to be believed. If you think that you or someone you know is depicted in one of these stories it's only because you're a twisted perverted little fucker who sees conspiracies and plots where none exist. You probably suspect that your own MOTHER had sex with ALIENS and COWS and stuff. Well, she didn't. It's all in your head. Now take your tranquilizers and RELAX.

mom had set out for me to wear I went nuts! Lying there on my bed was a bra,
a pair of white pantyhose, a half slip, and a very pretty dress which I'd
never seen before!

"Oh mom," I called sarcastically. "I seem to have a problem with my
clothes!"

"Mom's grin as she came into my room told me she knew exactly why I called
her!

"Is something wrong honey?" She asked, the picture of innocence.

"Wrong mom," I said, "What makes you think anything could be wrong?" I
pointed to the clothes on my bed.

"You don't really think I'd walk out of the house wearing those things do
you? I asked.

Mom's smile faded and she became very serious. "I thought it would be fun!"
She said. "I wouldn't have put them there if I hadn't expected you to wear
them!"

That clinched it! Mom had completely flipped!

"I can't go out in those things mom." I said.

Mom's expression never changed.

"You promised, remember Mike," she said in a hurt tone of voice. "You said
you'd go along for the weekend if I bought you that jacket. Have you changed
your mind?"

Here I was faced with going out in public in girl's clothes and mom was
acting as if she had a problem! I didn't know what else to do, I had to have
that coat

"All right, mom." I finally said. "But could you at least tell me what you
have in mind?" Mom said she'd explain things as I got dressed.

I took off my nightgown and picked up the bra.

"Strange," I thought to myself, "This isn't at all like the one I wore last
night."

Mom saw my puzzled expression.

"It's yours," she said as if it was no big deal. "I thought it would be
better if you wore one made for a girl your age!"

She handed me the stockings after I got the bra fastened and adjusted.

"As a matter a fact, these things are all yours." She told me. "You wouldn't
look right wearing my clothes, these are more for a girl your age!"

It turns out that mom had planned on taking me shopping as a girl as soon as
I agreed to try dressing up! She went out and bought a few things for me to
wear so I'd look like a thirteen year old girl! The stockings were of course
a perfect fit as were the slip and dress. The dress was really, mom
described it as a "Floral print" in fall colors. I thought it was just some
brown and orange flowers and stuff, guess I had a lot to learn!

Mom showed me how to unzip it just enough to pull over my head. That way I
could reach the zipper to pull it up the rest of the way by myself. Useful
stuff for a guy to know, right? When I got the dress on and zipped it up I
was surprised at how nice I looked in it!

Although it really bugged me to admit it mom was right! It was just right
for a girl my age, very figure flattering I think they say! It ended several
inches above my knee's, just like the girls wore at school. My padded bra
gave me just the right sized chest, and the dress provided curves for my
waist and hips. My slip was the perfect length, the lace at the bottom ended
an inch or two before my dress did so I wouldn't worry about my slip showing!

"I'm sure you tried hard mom," I said, giving her a kiss on the cheek. "But
I don't see how I'm going to make anyone think I'm really a girl! One look
will show them that Im a boy."

Mom reached down and handed me a pair of low heeled, brown suede shoes.

As I stepped into them mom said, "Come with me, I'll show you how were going
to do it!"

She led me back to her room and had me sit down at her dresser. I remembered
what she had told me and smoothed the back of my skirt before I sat down.

"Glad to see you remembered," mom said as I sat down.

"Wouldn't want to have my dress stick up in the back!" I replied with a grin.

Mom reached over and grabbed her make-up kit.

"This is going to be fun!" She exclaimed as she began to apply a liquid to my
face.

Mom took her time with my make-up saying she wanted it to look just right.
She said girls my age shouldn't wear much make-up, it made them look like
"little tramps!" "No daughter of mine is going to look that way!" She vowed.

"Uh mom," I interrupted, "You don't have a daughter, remember?"

Mom stopped for a moment to admire her handiwork, "I do now!" she replied.

"Me and my big mouth!" I thought.

It took mom about twenty minutes or so to do my make-up. She happily
explained what she was using and how as she worked. First she applied the
liquid, ("Foundation," she called it, sort of like a base coat in painting!),
next came powder, (to set the foundation and take away any shine.), just a
little blush to bring out the color in my cheeks, brown eyeshadow to match
the colors in my dress, then a coral lipstick ("Subdued but pretty," she
said) .

She finally pronounced me done and let me look in the mirror. I looked very
nice, a pretty dress, nice figure, cute face, but I still looked like a boy!

"Nice try mom," I said, "But my hair won't stay the way you fixed it last
night. Sorry."

I started to get up but mom put her hand on my shoulder.

"Sit down young lady," she said. "You're not done yet!"

Mom picked up what appeared to be a long lock of hair (a "fall" she said.)
and put it against my head.

"Good thing we've got the same shade of hair," she said as she began to
fasten it to my own hair. In just a few minutes she was done and then I got
to see what I was to finally look like!

Gone was the boy in the pretty dress and make-up. He had been replaced by a
pretty girl with wavy, shoulder length hair and bangs! I was amazed, I
really looked pretty!

"Mom!" I yelled, scared out of my wits at what I saw. "Look what you've
done! I look like a girl!" Mom didn't seem to be in the least upset over my
appearance. Actually she was beaming with pride in her daughter!

"Well," mom asked. "Do we have a deal? Are you willing to go shopping as a
girl now?"

I couldn't back out now, mom had certainly made sure I wouldn't be
recognized!

"I'm going to hate myself," I said, "But I'll be your daughter today!"

Mom smiled and picked up a gold necklace a pair of clip on earrings she had
bought for her "Daughter." I held the necklace in place as she fastened it
around my neck. Next she clipped the earrings on me then sprayed me with
musk cologne that girls at school were wearing. She handed me a girl's purse
with some make-up and cologne in it.

"Don't forget your purse sweetheart," she said with a smile. "You might want
to touch up your make-up in the Ladies room at the mall!"

As we headed for the garage mom said, "I don't want you flirting with the
boys while we're shopping, young lady." I told her that boys were the
farthest thing from my mind. Mom just chuckled. "I have a feeling they
won't be feeing the same way about you though!"

I hadn't thought about boys and I had no idea what I'd do if a boy approached
me. Mom told that if a boy did start talking to me that I should relax and
treat him the way I'd want a girl to treat me. I said I'd try but couldn't
promise anything. It just seemed silly that any boy would be interested in
me!

As we were leaving mom said that she had decided to go to a mall further away
than usual. She felt this would lessen any chance of someone knowing us.
Also she said that it didn't seem right to call a pretty girl by a boy's
name, therefore I would become her daughter "Kristen!"

I thought Kristen was as good a name as any and mom made sure I got used to
hearing it as we drove to the mall!

Mom and I talked non-stop all the way to the mall. Actually, I did most of
the talking. I was so excited that mom couldn't get a word in edgewise! I
was constantly checking myself in the car's vanity mirror. I wanted to make
sure my make-up and hair were perfect!

I didn't care though. I had a stomach full of butterflies and need to be
sure!

"Sorry mom," I said nervously, "I just want to make sure I look like a girl.

Mom patted me on the hand as she drove. "I understand Kristen," she said.
"But you'll have to trust me. You're an average teen-age girl! No one would
ever believe you're really a boy!

I felt better hearing that from mom but still stole occasional glances at the
mirror.

We finally arrived at a mall about thirty minutes from where we lived. No
one at school ever talked about this place so I thought we'd be safe. Still
if mom had only parked closer to the entrance! I slid my legs to the side as
mom had shown me and stepped out to greet the world as Kristen!

I thought the sound of my heels was going to make everyone we passed stop and
stare at me. I soon found out that mom was right, people never looked at me
twice. Everyone we passed walked by as if there was nothing wrong!

I began to relax and enjoy myself as we walked into the mall. Soon the
butterflies were gone and mom and I were having a wonderful time! Our first
stop of course was the department store to buy my jacket! I was thrilled to
find an entire rack of jackets to choose from and couldn't wait to find my
size.

Mom stopped me and reminded me that it wouldn't be right for a girl to have
such an interest in guy's jackets. I had to wait patiently while she picked
one out in my size. I was heartbroken to have to wait until we got home to
try it on.

Mom suggested that we spend a little time and shop around. By then I was
feeling pretty confident in the way I looked so I agreed. Little did I know
that mom wanted to shop for clothes for Kristen! Mom made straight for the
Junior dress department with me tagging along as fast as I could.

"Where are we going now mom?" I asked.

Mom never even looked back; she just kept walking towards the dresses.

Once we reached mom's target she began to pull out dresses and ask my opinion
of them. Most were really cute but I couldn't see the need for them.

"Why bother mom," I asked quietly. "I don't need any more clothes!" This
time mom acted as if I had lost my marbles.

"You can never have too many pretty outfits Kristen," she replied calmly.

Handing me a short sleeved pink dress she said, "Hold this while I look for
some others. No point in only taking one dress to try on!"

I was getting a little worried now. I had started this as a means to get a
jacket and it looked as though I was going to end up with a new wardrobe!
What was I supposed to do?

I was standing in the middle of the girls dress department looking like a
teen-age girl. I couldn't very well say "Enough dresses mom, I'm a boy
remember!"

All I could do was to go along for the ride! Before too long I was standing
in my slip preparing to try on six different outfits!

I was pulling the pink dress down over my slip when the curtain opened. A
saleswoman poked her head in and asked if I needed any help. I smiled
sweetly and asked if she could zip me up. The woman helped me pull the dress
the rest of the way down and then zipped it up for me. She smiled at me and
told me how pretty I looked and asked if the dress was for a special
occasion. I told her that mom had just decided to pick me up a few new
dresses.

As she left the woman said, "You're lucky, with your looks and figure, you'll
look great in anything!"

By now mom was wondering what had happened to me. She saw the saleswoman
leaving and asked me if everything was okay. When I told her what had
happened she laughed.

"See," she said. "Didn't I tell you how pretty you looked!"

Mom's remark barely helped calm my heart which was beating wildly, that
saleswoman had scared me half to death! Yet I felt a sense of calm knowing
that she had really thought that I was a girl!

By the time we finished with the dresses I had tried on about twenty of them
in all sorts of styles! I was having a great time picking out all sorts of
different dresses, skirts, and tops! Soon mom just stood back and let me
pick out the clothes I wanted to try on! There were so many different styles
that I had a hard time deciding which ones to try!

When I finished trying on outfits and had changed into my own dress I saw mom
at the cash register. I was now the proud (?) owner of three new dresses
along with several skirts and tops!

As we left the cash register area I asked mom why she had bought them.

"I thought they were the prettiest of all that you tried on," was her matter
of fact response!

"But mom," I said panicky, "How do I explain them to dad?"

Mom told me she'd keep my dresses in her closet. "I could wear them on
special occasions," she advised me! I was really worried now. What possible
"Special occasions" would I want to wear a dress for? This had started out
as a harmless game but mom was taking it far too seriously!

I tried not to think of it! I followed mom to our next stop. I soon found
myself starting at a rack of lace trimmed panties on little hangers!

"I can't wear these" I whispered to mom. "What if someone see them on me?"

Mom confidently picked out several pairs and put them into our cart. "And
since when do you show other people your underwear?" She asked.

It was a good point. I wasn't in the habit of showing off my underwear to
people. Also I'd only be wearing them with my "Special Occasion" outfits,
right? Once again mom's strange logic won the argument for her! Mom also
decided to pick up a few packs of regular panties for 'everyday wear,' she
said! I was afraid to ask what she meant by that!

Before we finished I had some of the prettiest panties a girl could want, two
new half slips in pink and yellow, three new padded bras, and several pairs
of stockings! I hated to imagine what might happen if someone opened my
underwear drawer and saw all of my lingerie!

Mom gave me pointers on how to act more ladylike throughout the day. I
learned how to walk, stand and sit like a girl! Mom seemed very happy with
my progress, often complimenting me on my actions.

After we finished with lingerie we went over to the sportswear department.
Mom said that she decided I wouldn't look right wearing her long skirt for my
class play. Soon I was trying on a pretty blue denim mini skirt just like
the one Jim wore!

Mom seemed as pleased as I was when I modeled the skirt for her. It was a
little shorter than the dress I had been wearing so I had to pull up my slip
a little bit. I picked out a cute, Peach colored, pullover top to wear with
it and mom found me a pretty white blouse for the play! Mom told me that I
had great looking legs and should wear mini skirts more often. I wasn't sure
how I was supposed to manage that but she was right. I can honestly say that
I looked great!

By the time we left that store mom had spent almost two hundred dollars on
girl's clothes for me. She told me not to worry, she'd find a way for me to
make use of them! I hated to see mom spend so much money but she seemed so
happy to be shopping with me. I was a little worried about getting in over
my head but then I remembered how nice it felt to be dressed up and kept
shopping!

When we finished shopping mom suggested that we stop for lunch. That seemed
like a great idea to me but I had a problem which needed to be taken care of.
I had to use the bathroom and fast! While mom was checking out I asked the
sales clerk where the rest rooms were.

She smiled and pointed behind me. "The Ladies room is back there miss!"

"Miss?" Then it hit me! I was going to have to use the Ladies bathroom!

Mom looked at me and grinned. "Go ahead Kristen," she said. "I'll wait here
for you!"

I was stuck! I couldn't wait any longer and dressed as I was I couldn't use
the men's room! Accepting my fate I set off to the ladies room!

I hesitated before entering but my bladder wouldn't wait. I gently eased the
door open and entered the room. Several women were at a mirror doing their
hair and make-up. Smiling as I passed I entered a stall and quickly locked
the door behind me!

I lifted my dress and slip, pulled down my stockings and panties and sat
down. I had passed a major test in being Kristen! I had been accepted as a
girl in a ladies rest room! It had been so easy that I couldn't understand
why I had been afraid. Mom had done a terrific job of turning me into a
girl!

My need taken care of I pulled my panties and nylons up, adjusted my dress
and left the stall. I decided to take mom's advice and began to touch up my
make-up. Mom had told me to make sure I didn't over do it. I was, she told
me, still too young to use much make-up!

I touched up my lipstick, brushed my hair, picked up my purse and left. Mom
was waiting back at the check-out and smiled when she saw me.

"Was everything okay sweetheart?" She asked.

"Sure mom," I giggled. "Shouldn't it have been?"

Mom took a playful whack at me. "I love you Kristen," she said.

I put my arm around her waist and squeezed her. "I love you too mom!" I
giggled.

We went out to a small restaurant for lunch and then it was back to the mall!
I never realized how much women liked to shop before. I had heard girls talk
about it but never knew why they took so much time! Today I figured it out.
There was just so much to choose from that no girl could possibly pick out an
outfit in a short time!

I was thrilled by all of the pretty styles and colors that I had to choose
from! As Mike I had the option of a shirt and slacks, period! As Kristen, I
had many decisions to make for what I wore. If I decided on a skirt I had to
decide on long, medium or short.

Would I wear a dressy skirt or something more casual? If I wore a skirt I'd
also need a top. Once again, dressy or casual! Did I even want to wear a
skirt and top? Maybe I'd pick a dress to wear; then I wouldn't have to worry
about what top to wear!

Who knows I might even feel like wearing slacks, then I didn't need to worry
about stockings! Life as a girl had so many options!

Mom and I walked around the mall until she came to a shop that sold
housewares. I wasn't interested so I told her I'd just sit out in front and
wait for her. She asked if I was sure I'd be okay and I told her I'd be
fine. I was so into being Kristen that I never considered why she might have
asked!

It didn't take long before I was spotted by a couple of teen-age boys
cruising the mall! Before I knew it they were sitting near me, laughing and
acting silly! I realized that they were trying to attract my attention!
These guys thought they had a cute girl in sight and were moving in for the
kill!

Within minutes the bravest of them approached me.

"Hi," he said smiling at me. "Are you new around here?"

I knew it was an ice breaking line but the guy seemed nice.

"Hi," I said flashing him a smile. "I'm doing some shopping with my mom.
We're not from around here."

Before I knew it I was carrying on a conversation with this kid! He told me
his name was Rice and that he was a sophomore at the local high school. He
and his friends liked to hang around the mall on Saturdays for fun. I
introduced myself as Kristen, told him I was in the eight grade and had never
been here before. Rick talked to me until mom came out of the store. She
strolled over to where my new friend and I were and said hello.

"Hi mom," I said cheerfully. "This is Rick, he's a tenth grader at the local
high school." Mom was very pleasant to Rick and he turned out to be very
sweet and polite to her. When mom told me it was time to go Rick asked if he
and I could go to the snack bar while she shopped. Mom smiled at me and said
it was okay with her if I wanted to!

Rick looked at me. "Come on Kristen," he said anxiously. "Let me treat you
to a Coke, okay?"

I was tired of running around with mom anyway and this guy was going to treat
me to a cold drink. How could I say no? Mom said she'd meet us at the snack
bar and off I went with my new friend! As I looked back at mom I could see
her break into a wide grin! Her daughter had found a boyfriend!

Rick was very nice. He told me how pretty I looked in my dress and said that
he liked the way I did my hair! I couldn't believe how good he was making me
feel!

We spent nearly an hour sitting there sipping Cokes and munching pizza. I
didn't care if I was a boy in a dress, I enjoyed the way he made me feel! We
talked about school and hobbies. Luckily for me one of my favorite hobbies
was roller skating.

I don't know how Rick would have enjoyed talking about my playing second base
for a boy's baseball team! Soon our time was up and mom returned. Rick
asked if he could have my phone number but I told him mom didn't allow boys
to call me yet! He seemed disappointed but recovered quickly enough to
suggest we go roller skating on Sunday!

Mom politely declined for me saying that I was still too young to date. Rick
seemed bummed out by the news but smiled and said that he was still happy to
have gotten to know me.

I couldn't believe the effect I had on this guy. Here I was, pretending to
be a girl and this kid wanted to date me! Mom told me that I should expect
this sort of thing to happen. After all I did look pretty in my dress and
nylons! "Nothing gets a boy worked up faster than seeing a pretty girl in a
dress" Mom said with a wink!

We called it a day and went back to the car. I was sort of sad to have to
leave but mom said that we got what we came to buy.

"That was true," I thought to myself. I got the jacket I wanted plus the
beginnings of a gorgeous wardrobe.

When we finally got back home mom helped me put my things away. She kept my
dresses in her closet but told me to put my lingerie in with my regular
clothes.

"But what if Dad sees them?" I asked. Mom said not to worry, dad was much
too busy to go looking through my stuff.

I spent the rest of the day as Kristen, looking at clothing catalogues with
mom and admiring the pretty outfits. Mom told me that I'd have to forget
about Kristen for a while since dad would be home tomorrow. Noting that I
seemed sad she said that I could wear panties under my slacks if I wanted to,
I hurried to take a bath pouring the scented bath oil into the tub! I sat
back to remember a weekend I never would have thought possible! Just a few
short days ago I had been shocked to see my best friend dressed as a girl.

He had dressed in his own home and I thought he was crazy. Yet I had just
spent an entire day shopping as Kristen! I wondered what I'd say to Jim on
Monday and how I'd act when dad came home. All of this because I had wanted
a leather jacket bad enough to let my mother turn me into a girl for a day!

The next morning I got up and had breakfast as if nothing had happened. Dad
was home by then and asked how everything went while he was gone. I told him
that it had been a pretty quiet week but that I was glad he was home. Dad
smiled at me, "Mom tells me you landed a part in your class play!" He said.
"I'll bet you're happy about that!" I just stared at him. "Everyone got a
part dad," I explained. "Some kids got better parts than others though!"

Dad didn't appear to understand.

"What kind of part did you get?" He asked, trying to keep the conversation
alive. It seemed that mom hadn't filled him in on everything so I thought I
might as well get it over with. I told him about how we would be doing our
section on the western United States. I tried not to go into too much detail
but dad wanted to know everything. Unfortunately everything included the
dance section too! "I get to be one of the dancers." I sighed. "Mom
promised to help me with my costume!"

Dad just wouldn't leave well enough alone though.

"What kind of costume do you need for western dancing" He asked. "A pair of
jeans, a checkered shirt. Doesn't seem that hard to me!"

Mom had been sitting there quietly, just looking at me with a stupid grin. I
hoped she'd just keep quiet but my luck had run out!

"Actually dear," she said smiling. "Mike needs a white blouse and a denim
skirt. He'll be one of the girls!"

Dad broke into laughter! "You have to wear a skirt?" Dad was laughing so
hard tears were running down his cheeks! "I can hardly wait to see this
play!"

Dad seemed to find my situation hilariously funny. I'm not sure I
appreciated his sense of humor though. After all I had to be the one wearing
the skirt! When dad finished laughing he told me to do my best for the play.
He said he was sure that mom would help all that she could. Mom was only to
happy to volunteer that she was loaning me a denim skirt and white top.
"Wait until you see how he looks," she said. "He'll be the cutest girl in
the play!"

"Why wait," asked dad. "Mike, go try on your costume. I want to see how
you'll look!"

The last thing I wanted to do was to model a skirt for my dad but he and mom
insisted so I went to change. I got the skirt and top from mom's closet and
went to change. Without thinking I took off my pajamas and put on the
clothes. Feeling very silly I went back to show dad.

"Not bad," dad said. "I'm sure mom will help fix you up for the play
though!"

Mom said that she'd make sure I looked good and told me to get changed.
Relieved to have finally told dad I changed into a shirt and jeans. The rest
of the day went without any problems. Dad never mentioned the play again and
I hoped that with any luck he'd be out of town when it was put on.

The next morning I was getting ready for school when just for the heck of it
I decided to wear panties. I reached to the very back of my drawer and
pulled out a pair of pink, 'Everyday' panties mom had bought me. As I pulled
them on I couldn't help smiling! They felt so good and I thought it would be
fun to have a little secret no one could guess! I pulled my pants and shirt
on and went down for breakfast.

Mom noticed the smile on my face and asked what was up. Dad was sitting
there so I couldn't come out and tell her that I was wearing panties. I just
told her that I felt in a good mood this morning and left it at that. I
finished breakfast, said good-bye to her and dad and left for school.

On the way to school Jim and I talked about the play. Jim was anxious for
our music class, he thought it was fun learning to dance as a girl! When I
agreed that it was getting to be fun Jim seemed relieved. I didn't want to
talk about it anymore though, I wasn't sure how much I could really tell him.

I forgot all about my underwear until I had to use the restroom at school. I
was puzzled at first by the feel of my panties but quickly remembered what I
was wearing. It seemed funny to me that I had more in common with the girls
in my music class than just the play!

I really enjoyed music class that day, we were getting more into the dancing
and I was really getting good at it! Best of all the girls were really nice
to Jim and me, we had gotten to be friends with several of the prettiest
girls in class! I couldn't wait for chance to ask them out!

That night I told mom and dad that maybe it wouldn't be too bad being in the
play. At least I met some good looking girls. Dad asked if we were being
teased by the other guys for our parts. I told him that instead of teasing
us they were being even nicer! They wanted us to introduce them to some of
the girls!

Dad seemed relieved that I was taking it so well and kept saying that he
couldn't wait to see the play!

The weeks seemed to fly by and soon it was time to put on the play. We were
told to meet that evening in costume so we could save time. That was okay
with me, I didn't care for the idea of putting on my skirt in front of the
other guys!

That evening mom told me to take a bath and get ready. After I finished my
bath I put on a robe and went back to my room to get dressed. Mom met me in
the hall and said that she'd laid out my clothes for me. When I saw what was
on my bed I almost died! Not only had mom set out my new skirt and top but
she had also laid out a pair of my prettiest panties, a half slip and
stockings! I stood there in shock for a moment until I heard mom behind me.

"Hurry up Kristen," she said in a low voice. "I set out some things I
thought you'd enjoy!

I tried to tell her that I couldn't wear those things, afraid someone would
notice. Mom refused to listen though. She kept saying that everything would
be fine. She said that I'd need the stockings to look just right and that
the slip would keep my skirt from sticking to me. The panties, she said with
a laugh, were just to make me fell more relaxed!

I couldn't imagine how I'd relax knowing that I was wearing panties and a
slip but mom insisted. After she left I quickly locked my door and began
dressing.

The panties were a real pretty peach color with a lace panel in the front. I
quickly slipped them on and pulled on my stockings took an extra moment to
admire my legs in the mirror before pulling on my slip. I sort of wondered
how mom had overlooked giving me a bra to wear but I was grateful for small
miracles!

I pulled on my skirt, tucked in my blouse and checked to make sure my slip
didn't show. Satisfied that all was well I finished zipping up my skirt and
buttoned it. Stepping into a pair of mom's black flats I took another look
in the mirror. My hair made me look like a boy but I was sure mom would take
care of that. Mom sat me in front of her dresser and after several minutes
of brushing, teasing, and hair spray she let me see how I looked. I didn't
look much like a boy anymore but was nowhere near as pretty as I looked as
Kristen. I thought mom would make me wear her hair-piece again but she said
it would attract too much attention. I was happy I wouldn't have to explain
showing up with long wavy hair!

Mom and I left the bedroom and went into the living room to show dad how I
looked. He looked at me, smiled, and let out a whistle. I was slightly
embarrassed at his definite approval but for some reason I liked it!

Dad walked over to me and jokingly told me that I'd be a real heartbreaker
and to watch out for the boys!

"That's silly dad," I said laughing. "All the other guys know I had to do
this. I doubt they'll be a problem!"

Dad just smiled and said, "I don't know, you're an awfully cute girl you
know!"

Before dad could continue teasing me mom insisted we had to leave for the
play. I wished that I could thank dad for the compliments but thought that
might cause some problems. Mom gave me one of her jackets and we headed for
our car. Dad opened and held moms door for her then smiled and did the same
for me. I knew he was just fooling around but I smiled and thanked him
anyway. I tucked my skirt beneath me as I sat down then swung my legs into
the car the way mom had taught me. Dad looked at me strangely then gently
closed my door!

When we finally got to school Jim and his family were also arriving. Jim
looked cute in his sisters skirt and top and he kept telling me how nice I
looked. I suppose it was nice of Jim to compliment me but I was worried that
it might lead to problems. I wanted to shove something into his mouth to
shut him up but it was too late.

Jim looked at my skirt and said that he thought I looked great in a
mini-skirt! He asked where I had gotten my skirt since mom said she didn't
have one. I told him that mom had found one in her closet and hoped he'd
shut up but he was acting as if we were two girls discussing our outfits.
Luckily for me dad didn't seem to be paying attention to what Jim was saying.

Once inside Jim and I went to meet the other kids before we went on stage. A
couple of guys whistled at us when we walked up and we put our hands on our
hips and swung our butts. The guys laughed and whistled some more as we kept
joking around. A couple of the girls that we had become friends with told us
how nice we looked and it was then that I noticed that Jim and I looked just
like the other girls. At least Mrs. Sloan would be happy!!

Before I knew it we were going on stage for the play. I was doing my best to
keep calm, hoping that it would all be over soon. The dance scene went very
well, my partner turned out to be one of my friends which made me feel much
better. When we had finished our routine the boys lined up on one side and
the girls on another. Our teacher gave us the cue and the boys bowed while
we girls curtsied. All I could think about was that I hoped my slip didn't
show and that I was glad to be done.

We left the stage and sat down to watch the rest of the play. Several
minutes later I was horrified to glance down and notice that I had crossed my
legs just like the other girls! I quickly uncrossed them and hoped no one
had noticed. I guess mom's teaching me to act like a girl had really sunk
in!

Several of the girls were whispering to each other and glancing over at me.
Finally one of them came over and asked if I'd do her a favor. Kathy was
really cute and without a thought I agreed. Just my luck, I had agreed to
accompany her on-stage to present our teacher with a bouquet of flowers!

I couldn't back out, I had become friendly with Kathy during the last few
weeks and didn't want to make her mad. She seemed happy that I agreed and
told me that I'd hand Mrs. Sloan the flowers while she read a little speech.
There was nothing for me to do but smile and promise to do my best. This
play was causing me more problems all the time. I was glad it was over
thinking that maybe now things would get back to normal!

After the other classes finished their parts my friend Kathy and I went
backstage to prepare for our presentation. As promised Kathy gave me the
flowers and we walked on-stage as Mrs. Sloan was called up. Kathy read a
little speech thanking Mrs. Sloan while I stood in the background trying to
be invisible. In what seemed like a split second Kathy was motioning me to
come forward with the flowers. I felt very silly cradling a bouquet of
flowers in my arms and was only too happy to give them to Mrs. Sloan. She
thanked Kathy and me and gave each of us a hug. When my turn came she put
her arms around me and thanked me.

"You look very pretty Mike," she whispered. "Thank you for doing this."

I followed Kathy back to our seats and without thinking I tucked my skirt
under as I sat down and folded my legs. Luckily for me only Jim noticed what
I had done. Unluckily he made sure to bring it up to me later!

As we were getting ready to leave Jim's mom suggested that we stop at a local
fast food shop for a quick bite to eat. Assuming that we'd stop at home to
change first I quickly agreed, I never passed up a chance for a burger and
fries!

I left mom and dad to settle things with Jim's mom and quickly hopped into
the car. It wasn't long before I noticed that we missed the turn that would
have taken us home. We were headed straight for the restaurant with Jim and
me still in skirts!

"Excuse me dad," I asked hesitantly. "Shouldn't we stop home first so I can
get changed?"

Dad laughed, "No Mike," he said. "We decided it would take too long for you
two to change so just try to make the best of it!"

I was terrified! I didn't mind spending an entire day shopping as Kristen
but I looked like a girl then. I couldn't imagine anyone really believing I
was a girl tonight! Mom looked back and winked at me.

"You and Jim look very cute tonight honey," she told me. "Trust me no one
will look at you twice!"

I thought I could act like I did at the mall but I was afraid to do that
around dad. What would he think of me if I acted like a girl around him?
Before I could worry about it we pulled into the restaurant parking lot. Dad
parked next to Jim's mom and got out first. He walked around and opened
mom's door for her then before I could reach for the handle he opened mine.

Dad smiled as I stepped out of the car. "Just think of it as part of your
class play Mike, you'll do just fine."

What could I do, I was standing in a parking lot wearing a skirt, blouse,
stockings, and a pair of women's shoes. There was nowhere else to go and I
was hungry. Mom brushed my hair and gave me an extra purse she just happened
to have with her. I looked over to Jim thinking that at least I wouldn't be
alone in my misery. Wrong! Jim was standing there with a stupid grin on his
face!

"Isn't this great Mike!" He asked as he walked over to me. "Everyone's going
to think we're really girls!"

"Let's hope so Jim," I said quietly. "Otherwise we'd better not go back to
school on Monday!"
