I truly hate to think so many people do not know how supple their
spines can be... basically, this would also require some practice, but if
you are interested in trying it, by all means, go for it!
For men, self-fallacating (this word took my roomie and me 3 hours
of argument to agree upon as proper) is VERY tough without either a very
flexible back (flexible enough to twist in a knot), or a pretty flexible back
and a longer than average erection. For women, as a friend of mine explained
to me (she is a dance instructor and and self-cunnilinguates regularly), it
is a little more difficult for women, as they do not protrude as men do.
Nevertheless, she says it can be done with practice, patience, and serious
