The Spring day was warm, though a cool breeze blew through the canyons
that kept the sun from being too uncomfortable for the hikers. One such
couple visited the Dennison Mountains Wildlife Refuge to get away from the
comforts of the house for a day exercising by way of rock climbing and hiking.
Jerry and Carolyn had been friends for several years, having met before
through Carolyn's sister, Joyce. Their first couple of meetings had been fun
and carefree, though the second had brought the two of them much closer than
they'd anticipated. Due to certain circumstances of the time, they had put
away their secret feelings and concentrated on strengthening their friendship.
Although Jerry's friendship with Joyce had diminished over time, he
and Carolyn had grown to be quite strong together. They lived half the state
away from one another, but from time to time they would meet for a short,
weekend vacation to visit in person, rather than on the telephone or through
letters. This was such a time.
Jerry had gone through several unsuccessful relationships since he had
separated from Joyce, and Carolyn had listened patiently to his complaints
through each situation. On the other hand, Carolyn had bounced back and forth
with one boyfriend who could never seem to make up his mind what he wanted in
their relationship, and Carolyn, in turn, had confided in Jerry through it
all. Although several hundred miles separated their homes, they had become
the closest of friends through the years.
Jerry rounded a boulder the path wound about and stopped to rest on a
smaller rock. Carolyn placed her hands on her hips and smiled down at him.
"You are the one who's been coming here for years," she said. "You're not
going to poop out on me now, are you? We're almost to the top!"
Jerry grinned. "True, I've been here more than you," he replied as he
fished out his canteen, "but you exercise more and are in better shape than I
am."
Carolyn sniffed playfully. "Every time I've come out to visit and we
make it down here, you give me the same excuse..."
"That's because I'm still out of shape!" The friends laughed and
shared a few sips of the cool water. Jerry replaced the container in his pack
and stood up again. "Shall we continue?"
Carolyn took the lead up the trail of Antelope Mountain. They were
only about fifteen minutes' worth of walking away from the trail's end on the
top of the large, granite mountain. As she started out, Jerry gazed up after
her, very appreciative of the sight he followed. It had been years since he
and Carolyn had been lovers on that weekend long ago, but he still remembered
what lay beneath the T-shirt and shorts she currently wore. With a smile, he
followed her up the trail and let his thoughts wander...
"Jerry? Earth to Jerry! You've been daydreaming again..." Carolyn
shook his shoulder. They were at the top of the trail.
Jerry shook his head and smiled. If she only knew what his thoughts
had been... "I'm okay," he said. "Just thinking about where to go, now that
we're on top of Antelope Mountain."
"Ah," she said. Carolyn pointed off to the east and said, "Why don't
we try to make for that huge boulder over there. It seems to be the highest
point around and probably where the original survey marker is."
"Sounds like a good idea to me," Jerry replied. "I know where a cave
is nearby, as well. We can stop there and eat our packed lunches..."
"Okay, we can do that. Lead the way."
They moved in and around the boulders, climbing over some and even
ducking under others. The trail up the side had ended once they crested the
top, but the top of the mountain was wide and flattened, with scattered stones
the size of houses that were weathered and eroded from centuries of Oklahoma
winds. The top of Antelope covered a good square mile and there were many
things to discover and see. They hadn't gone very far from the trail when
Jerry led them around a vicious crevasse. On the other side was a natural
stair-step of rock layers down into the cut in the mountain. At the bottom
they found a shallow cave in the granite, with a sandy floor and some litter
from past visitors to the grotto.
"Cool!" Carolyn exclaimed.
Jerry found a relatively clear spot near the back and sat down in the
sand. He set his pack beside him and then patted the ground in front of him.
"Have a seat,." he said. Carolyn smiled and sat down where indicated, with
her back to him. He leaned against the rock behind him, and she leaned back
against his chest. He put his arms around her middle and rested his hands on
her stomach. Without knowing, both closed their eyes at the same time as they
relaxed into one another.
"This is nice..." Carolyn purred. The cave was cool, but the warm air
breezed through lightly, making them rather comfortable.
Jerry didn't reply, as he was enjoying the remnants of the perfume
she'd put on earlier that morning. Her long hair smelled nice and was silky
against his nose. Almost without thinking, he licked the edge of her ear.
She gasped, and giggled, but did nothing more than smile, her eyes still
closed. He struggled with a thought and then whispered in her ear,
"Remember?"
"Yes," she whispered back. "I remember."
He sat still, holding her in that position for several moments, until
he realized that she was absently drawing tiny circles on the back of his left
hand. His skin felt super sensitive and he felt a familiar bulge grow between
his legs. Carolyn cleared her throat lightly, a subtle acknowledgment that
she'd felt him below. However, still she didn't move from her position.
Jerry raised the fingers of his right hand and gently brushed the tips
along the bottom of her right breast. She gasped lightly as he moved up and
lightly ran a finger across the taut nipple protruding through her T-shirt.
And yet she didn't stop him. Heartened by her reactions, he boldly moved his
right hand up and cupped her breast. Carolyn leaned back against him harder
and squirmed slightly as he massaged her breast gently.
He kissed her ear and ran his tongue along its ridge as he dropped his
other hand to the bottom edge of her T-shirt and slid his hand up underneath
the fabric. The bra she wore underneath was a simple one, designed for
sporting events and his hand slipped under it without much problem.
Carolyn sighed in pleasure and let him continue with his
ministrations. She wasn't prepared, however, for what he did next.
His right hand moved down from her breast and to her crotch. He slid
his fingers over the fabric of her shorts and slipped them up inside the wide
legs of the garment. He found her panties and maneuvered his fingers
underneath and into her thick fur.
Carolyn gasped as he found her lips and began to massage them. The
tiny bump was easily reached and he worked it slowly as his other hand
continued its caresses of her hardened nipple.
"Oh..." she gasped lightly. Jerry took this as a good sign and went
on with his work. It only took a few moments before she was writhing in his
arms and she finally moaned out in pleasure as the orgasm built up within her.
It finally hit her and her whole body shook from the internal explosions.
Jerry kissed her neck and she squirmed around to kiss him on the lips
between her pleasured gasps. Jerry removed his hands from the sensitive areas
on her body and returned the kiss fully. Practically purring out loud now,
Carolyn got up on her knees and turned to face him. With a mischievous grin,
she reached for his own shorts and began to unfasten them.
"Jerry? Earth to Jerry! You've been daydreaming again..." Carolyn
shook his shoulder. They were at the top of the trail. He shook his head
and smiled. If she only knew what his thoughts had been... "I'm okay," he
said. "Just thinking about where to go, now that we're on top of Antelope
Mountain."
