Loring AFB The Landing

The reason for this artical is to see if others like myself are out there that were part of a historic event that occured in 1975 on Loring AFB ME. I know that several people were involved first hand including both the Wing and Base Commanders at Loring AFB. In brief the event goes like this...a private aircraft landed inside the Weapons Storage Area one evening in Oct. 1975. I was on duty at an Entry Control Point EC Baker 2, when this happend, the official story seems to be "it was a helicopter!". Anybody that was there or knows anything about this event knows much different. In short...a alien ship landed...contact was made by the commanders of the base..and it was allowed to fly out on its own! I know...it sounds incredible and indeed it was a historic event! So if anyone out there knows what I do it would be nice to chat about that event years ago.
