the conclusion of the Fort Smith sedition trial. The writers seem to be
concerned to portrary the Identity defendants as a bunch of reasonable folks

30,000, Phoenix, AZ 85046): A completely loopy newsletter
from the Identity Christian end of things. The December issue
has ravings about AIDS being a Russian plot that can be cured
with the proper application of "scalar electromagnetics",
publicity for Ernst Zundel, and other bizarre stuff. (S-8t)

Recruitment Issue ($1/10 copies from White Student Union, PO
Box 41872, Sacramento, CA 95841): A simple tabloid that
argues for racial organizations and swears to do whatever
necessary to get them going. They list 14 chapters already in
operation and give a bunch of phone numbers and addresses for

BATTLE CRY Nov./Dec. 1987 ($2.40/6 issues from Chick
Publications, PO Box 662, Chino, CA 91710): Yes, the
publishers of the world's stupidest, most offensive, most
error-ridden tract comic books also have their own tabloid. As
with the comics themselves, it's a collection of lies and hate
directed at Satanists, Wiccans, Catholics, and anything else
Chick doesn't like -- which is quite a lot. Funny but

BATTLE CRY Mar./Apr. 1988: This issue reprints the
"Reverend Wonderful" tract (where a flashy evangelist meets
St. Peter and gets in trouble -- Pete is portrayed as sort of
a glowing Lincoln Memorial statue), discusses the links
between D&D and murder, and announces the debut of a new line
of full-color comics for children aged 6-11. It is to vomit.

BATTLE CRY Sept./Oct. 1988: Targets of the issue: the Jesuits, the
Moslems, and the Jehovah's Witnesses. Oh, and of course the Pope. There's
also crowing over reprints in other languages for poor benighted savages,
including an all-picture religious tract for illiterate natives in New

CHRISTIAN ANTI-COMMUNIST CRUSADE Vol. 27 #21-22 (Info from
PO Box 890, 227 E. Sixth St., Long Beach, CA 90801-0941):
Hidebound conservatives who want to stomp out those evil Reds.
Also given to preaching against homosexuals and calling for

Vol. 28 #4 reveals that they raised more than a million
and a half bucks for their strain of invective last year. It
also exposes once again the teaching of communism on our
college campuses. [3/88]
Vol. 28 #23 examines the works of Gorbachev to condemn him as
just another ruthless dictator in the mold of Lenin and Stalin,
and warns us that the Commies are trying to take over Benin. [12/88]

CHRISTIAN CONSERVATIVE CHURCHES OF AMERICA (PO Box 565, Flora,
IL 62839): These folks also run the Christian-Patriots Defense
League, Citizens Emergency Defense System, Save America Gun
Club, Women's Survival Corps, and Paul Revere Club. The purpose
of this network is to be ready when the social order collapse to
head for the hills, eat wild foods, and defend what's left of
right-wing values. Leadership in their organization is only
open to white male Christians, though they do offer to organize
separate but equal branches for other races. A buck will probably
get you more information than you can stand about these guys.

63068): A weekly tabloid of general news for hard-core reactionary
Christians: their masthead states that their tenets come from the Book of
Concord of 1580, and apparently they haven't had an original thought
since. In amongst news stories about variour Protestant sects are
slurs directed at the Jesuits, the "Pharisaic-Talmudic-Zionist
Brainwashers", and homosexuals. (T-24t) [1/89]

THE CHRISTIAN PATRIOT CRUSADER Vol. 5 #3 ($1.50 from 113 Ballentine St.,
Bay St. Louis, MS 39520): Mostly hardcore CHristian Identity theologizing.
But "Brig. Gen. Jack Mohr" (as he always refers to himself) also gets into
various anti-Jew digs, including the old stories about spitting on the
Cross and spitting whenever passing Christian churches. They also deny
completely that there was any Holocaust, holding to the stronger of the
Revisionist theses that there weren't even a large number of deaths (the
weaker versions is that the deaths were not deliberate extermination). For
an extra 50 cents you can get a pamphlet explaining why the Rapture is a

THE COVENANT MESSAGE #54-55 (Donation from The Federation
of the Covenant People, PO Box 830, Honeydew, 2040, SOUTH
AFRICA): Mostly this is Biblical exegesis combined with
mysticism. But every once in a while they slip into politics
and one can then learn about, for example, the Israeli/Jewish
control of the U.S. Congress. Mostly boring with flashes of

CRUSADE AGAINST CORRUPTION (Donation from PO Box 4063,
Marietta, GA 30061): A letter from one J.B. Stoner, a
self-proclaimed "White Racist". This stuff proclaims AIDS to
be just God's way of wiping out jews, blacks, and sodomites,
among other cheery pronouncements. Stoner is a dangerous kook,
and should probably be ignored, but for heaven's sake at least
doon't send him any money. Write an appropriately illiterate
letter and he'll probably get in touch with you for free.

FROM THE MOUNTAIN Nov.-Dec. 1987 ($15/yr from PO Box 488,
Byron, MI 48418): Probably the most
widely-circulated of the Identity-affiliated newsletters in
the country today. Much of it is concerned with harassment by
the forces of ZOG (Zionist Occupation Government) of Mountain
Church members. I note that they've only raised $28000 for
legal costs; a lot less than the punks coughed up for Jello.
These people are also heavily into prisoner support.
Understandable -- they may be inside before long. (S-14)

FROM THE MOUNTAIN March/Apr. 1988: Well, I guess I was
wrong about some of this: all defendants in the Fort Smith
seditious conspiracy trial were pronounced innocent by the
jury. This issue reports in quite some detail about the trial,
in a rather amazingly openhanded fashion. And to boot, it's
coverage that didn't make the mainstream press at all, at
least not around here. [6/88]
FROM THE MOUNTAIN May/June 1988: Yup, more of the same.
The account of the trial continues, together with current news
from the Identity and Aryan Nations and like-minded groups. If
these folks weren't so far off the board ideologically they'd

together with news about some gatherings over the summer. THey also offer a
bunch of items for sale, including T-shirts, arguments from the trial, and a

TX 75713): This one is pretty well laid back, mostly being
full of evangelical Christianity and anti-abortion ranting. It
makes it on to this list by virtue of loud and long insistence

IHR NEWSLETTER #54-55 ($1 (?) from IHR, 1822 1/2 Newport
Blvd. #191, Costa Mesa, CA 92627): The Institute for
Historical Review is the most tenacious bunch of Holocaust
Revisionists around. They actually make a fairly persuasive
case for the idea that there were no gas chambers used for
executing Jews in World War II. Most of the newsletter,
however, is more concerned with their struggle to be heard
around the world -- freedom of speech is not a concept that
gets applied to them too often.
THE 'PROBLEM OF THE GAS CHAMBERS' by Robert Faurisson is a
small pamphlet published by the IHR which sets out the basic
thesis of Holocaust Revisionism in a nutshell, together with
references into the literature; 10 copies for $2. [2/88]

INFO (Donation from PO Box 5114, Eloise, FL 33880) is a
distributor of news clippings. Most of what they reprint is
designed to make one of three points: (1) The Jews are running
the country; (2) Minorities commit more crimes; or (3) The
judges are sentencing whites more harshly than blacks.
Somewhat less vitriolic than most of the stuff on this list.

want to repeal the Fourteenth Amendment, limit citizenship to
Aryans, and throw all the other races out of the country. THey
don't even pretend to be reasonable men and their propaganda is
pretty nauseating. Probably they'll send you some if you show

THE NATIONAL EDUCATOR Vol. 20 #5 ($1 from PO Box 333, 1051-E S. Lemon,
Fullerton, CA 92632): A "patriotic" tabloid that is quite outrageously
sensationalistic -- also full of crap. The cover story reveals that the
Democratic Party is a front for the Stalinist Communists. Lest you see Bush
as an alternative, though, you should know that the Republicans are a front
for the Trotskyite Communists. They also reveal that homosexuals are
unnatural and abnormal, that Zionists are Communists, and so on. (T-16t)

Waynesville, NC 28786): Eldon Purvis is basically your usual
Christian crank. Much of the content here is prophetical
numerology, but somehow it always seems that the Jews are the
ones causing the trouble, because of their fanatical spirit or
suicidal heritage or whatever. Amusing rewrites of history,

NEW BEGINNINGS Vol. 18 #7: Purvis almost made it through
this issue without saying anything too off-the-wall (if you can
take his prophetical interpretation of the scriptures
seriously), but then comes the last page and he's raving again
about the Jewish Pro-Israel Zionist lobby and its agents that
are controlling the U.S. government. (S-16t) [9/88]
NEW BEGINNINGS Vol. 18 #11: Funnier than most issues and without the
laborious Jew-baiting. The best bet this time around is an article examining
in great Biblical detail the Trident submarines, showing how most of their

THE NEW FEDERALIST Vol. I #6 (50 cents from PO Box 889,
Leesburg, VA 22075): This is Lyndon LaRouche's latest tabloid,
which is all you really need to know. Poor Lyndon. Both the
KGB-backed Democrats and the Secret Team running the
supposedly Republican government are trying to suppress him.

NEW FEDERALIST Vol. II #5-6 (same as above): In these
issues the LaRouchies defend General Noreiga, discuss the
progress of U.S.A. vs. The Larouche Campaign, and report that
the KGB and the US Justice Department teamed up to frame John

NEWS OF THE NEW WORLD Vol. 13 #8-#9/10 ($14/yr from PO Box
830, Honeydew, 2040, SOUTH AFRICA): In #8 they prove
that racial separatism is precisely the philsophy behind Star
Trek's prime directive, and that the commies are behind all
plots to integrate their country. The double ish #9/10 talks
about British & American efforts to sell out South Africa and
tells us that everyone in the US will have AIDS by the year

NEWS OF THE NEW WORLD Vol. 14 #1 (same as above): More of
the same, plus warnings that the Soviets are using "Tesla
Magnifying Transmitters" to spread deadly diseases across the

NSV REPORT Vol. 4 #1 (PO Box 328, The Dalles, OR 97058):
From the National Socialist Vanguard, one of the groups still
rpeserving the swastika as their emblem. They're so virulently
anti-Jewish as to be pro-Khadafy. They also seem to be part of
the plan to make an Aryan nation of the Pacific Northwest,
though they say they're just misunderstood and mistreated by
the news media, a bunch of good ol' boys trying to live in

NSV REPORT Vol. 6 #1: These folks are still out there, though
apparently director R.E. Cooper is having trouble getting jobs
from his community and the financial picture is not good.
Nevertheless, they're being exceptionally active among the
youth of America. This takes two forms: helping high school
students distribute Nazi propaganda, and getting in tough with

videotapes for Constitutionalists who believe in a Christian

Schell City, MO 64783): This would serve as a decent
introduction to the doctrinal beliefs of Identity Christians
(or Christian Israelites, as they alternatively refer to
themselves) were it not for the history article, which lays out
the plans of the World Zionist Conspiracy and how they fit in
