This FAQ is Freely Distributed, which means you can copy it, upload it, and
pass it around. You cannot, however, distribute this FAQ with ANYTHING

here may severely alter gameplay. I claim no responsibilty for damage done
to your game by using these codes. It would be advisable to back up your
game before inputting any of these codes. I have, however, tested about 90%
of these codes, and never encountered a problem.

Glossary:
(This will explain some terms that you may need to know in th FAQ)
commercial - the full version of a game. Usually bought from a store or
catalog. It is illegal to copy this for other people. See
registered.
demo - some authors make demos of their software which is 1 or 2 levels.
It may or may not be legal to copy this. See shareware.
flag - added to the name of a file. Looks like FILENAME FLAG.
press - press these keys or buttons at the same time.
registered - the full version of shareware software. May or may not be legal
to copy. See commercial.
shareware - similar to a demo, but is usually a larger sampling or full
product. After a fair amount of time, you are required to either
delete it or purchase the full product. It is totally legal to
copy this software. See demo
type - type these keys in order.
+ - at the same time as the letters on the side(s) of it.
, - in order. In example, C,H,E,A,T would mean you type C, then H,
then E, then A, then T.
Note:Some games here are shareware and the codes will only work in the
registered version. Codes also may not work if you are using an interactive
demo, the wrong version, or sometimes have too little memory.
Alien Carnage
Press B+I+G for full health and fuel
Wing Commander
When you start up Wing Commander, add the flag "Origin -k" without the
quotes. It should look like "WC Origin -k" without the quotes. If you
do not use a capital O in Origin, this will not work. Now that the cheat is
enabled, you are invincible. You can destroy ANY ship ANY time with this on,
by targeting them and pressing Ctrl + Del. Use the flag "-k Origin" without
the quotes to the command line to get the ctrl-del destroy command, but not
invincibility.
Pong Kombat
D is down, U is up, and B is button.
If you get a flawless on any stage execute the fatality B,B,B,U to turn the
opponent into Spam. Here's the moves:
Red Paddle
Weapon-D,U,B,B
Fatality-D,D,D,B
Blue Paddle
Weapon-B,B,B,B
Fatality-U,B,U,B
Yellow Paddle

Fatality-B,U,U,U
To throw the opponent in the pit, use D,D,D,D as your fatality in the pit
stage. To throw the opponent into the acid, use U,U,D,D as your fatality
in the acid pool level.
To fight Monolith, wait until the face pops up in the lower-left hand corner.
If this happens in the portal level, press D+B the second "Whoopsie!"
finishes playing on your sound card. If this works, you will hear a maniacal
laugh. When the fight is over, no mattr who wins, you will fight Monolith.
To fight Shifter, do a Spamality in the throne room.
To access the programmer's mode codes, use the flag DIP while executing. It
should look like PONGKOMB DIP. It has to be in capitals to work. You can
alter the 5 switches using up and down, select a switch with left and right,
and you can go on to the game by pressing spae. Here's what the switches
mean:
Switch 1-Turn the KWLS Komiks ad on or off
Switch 2-Turn on/off violence
Switch 3-Turn on/off Monolith taunts
Switch 4-Turn on/off longer credits
Switch 5-Turn on/off to start at White Paddle
Use the flag JAM for Pong Jam. The command line should look like
PONGKOMB JAM.
Magic Carpet
Type this cheat at the beginning of a level. Type the letter i. Make sure
to type it in lower case. There will be a prompt to type a message. Type
"ratty" in lower case and without the quotes. Now you can use the following
key combinations:
Alt + F1 -All spells
Alt + F2 -More mana
Alt + F6 -Totally healed
Alt + F7 -Kills all creatures
Shift + C -Skips to next level
To skip levels, after the i code is inputted, type "carpet" without quotes,
followed by the level number to warp to. Level numbers can be 1-50.
Dark Forces
Type in these codes during the game:

Corridor 7
Add the flag -president to enable random level order in the president skill
level. To receive all weapons and full life, press W+A+X. Another flag is
LEVEL1DIAGNOSTIC. In play, with this on, press backspace and the following
letters:
G - God mode
W - Level warp
N - Walk through walls
R - Skull in front of player
I - Higher score
TFX
To skip training, hold control and press enter 3 times when you are supposed
to enter your name.
Metaltech:Battledrome
To access this code, all you have to do is when you are prompted to type your
name, add an asterix (i.e. Jeff*). This will give you enough money to buy
all the best armor and weapons.
Quarantine
The code for level 2 of Quarantine is:
OMNICORP IS ALL KNOWING
Halloween Harry
Ctrl+R+E+N-All weapons and temporary God mode
Alt+L-Level warp. Type episode and level
Alt+=-Teleport. Enter coordinates after code
Outrun
Type RED BARCHETTA while playing to access the cheats. Then you can press T
to increase time, S to skip levels, or B to restart the level and get bonus
points.
Populous
Type KILLUSPAL on the title screen to start on level 999.
Test Drive
Hold down the button while making turns to not fall or crash. Other cars can
still hit you
Test Drive II
Type these during the game:
aerf -free life, fast acceleration, and fast braking
gass -skip to gas station with great score and time
gasst -skip to gas station with normal score and time
,bruce -change level 2 sign to 'Bruce Dawson Wrote This'
Ultima VII
Talk to Iolo and say "Spam,spam,spam,humbug" without the quotes and enter
0-225. This will convert the number to an object.
Add the flag ABCD& to the command line. Hold down alt and type 225. In the
game, press F2 for the cheat menu.
Boppin'
From the main menu, press the following codes:
Ctrl-v Slide sho
Ctrl-t Sound test
During gameplay, press the following codes:
Ctrl-b Mystery Spot
Ctrl-l Goes to next level, subtracts 1 life
Shift-Ctrl-l Goes back 1 level
During gameplay, type T,O,Y,S,S to enable these codes:

Alt-h Delivers maximum hit during final battle
Ctrl-F5 Add Player 1 credit

Commander Keen : Invasion of the Vorticons
Hold down T+A+B for 99 shots and 1 life.
Hold down G+O+D to be invincible.
Press ctrl+tab+space for a pogo stick
Press shift+tab on the map to pass through a level.
Press C+T+Space for pogo, keys, and 100 shots
Commander Keen : Goodbye Galaxy
Press A+2+Enter to enable cheat codes.
Now you can press F10 + the following letters to use codes:

Press M+L+I for full health, ammo, keys, and guns.
This decreases your score to 0.
To get debug mode, do the following:
Instead of typing WOLF3D to run it, type WOLF3D GOOBERS in 1.1 and WOLF3D NEXT
in 1.0.
In the game, press left alt+left shift+backspace in version 1.1, or
ctrl+tab+enter in 1.0.
Press tab+the following letters to enable cheats:

Raptor
Type SET S_HOST=CASTLE at MS-DOS before executing RAP.EXE.
You will have all weapons, $900000, unlimited health, and 5 bombs.
In debug mode you can warp levels using the following code:
Type your 2 key entry at the level selection screen.
Key 1-Z(Episode 1), X(Epsisode 2), or Y(Episode 3).
Key 2-Q,W,E,R,T,Y,U,I, or O representing levels 1-9 respectively
Pressing backspace with or without the SET S_HOST=CASTLE line gives your ship
full health and a death ray.
To get birthday mode, change the system date to either March 12, May 16,
August 28, or October 2 to hear the Cygnus Software staff singing happy
birthday.
You can get animal mode by darkening the big switch on the level select
screen, by clicking it once. next click the far left and far right buttons
to the right of it. Then choose your sector and you will be in animal mode.
This changes some enemies to animals, and makes the game harder.
If you have a version higher than 1.0, turn on the middle switch, too.
Keen Dreams
Press F10+ the following letters for cheats:
G-God mode
W-Level warp
C-Color
I-Items
S-Slow motion
Blake Stone (v2.0+)
Type J, A, M, Enter for all keys and health.
Run the game using BSTONE /POWERBALL and at the JAM screen hold down both
shifts. During the game press backspace and the following keys for codes:

Pause the game with space, and type DSIMAGIC and press space.
A yellow capsule will fall that you should catch. Now you can type the
following cheat keys:

C - holds ball
D - split ball into 3
E - vaus larger
L - get laser used w/mouse button
P - extra life
S - slower
F - skip to last level
Press the numerical keypad enter to skip levels
Betrayal at Krondor
Press alt+rshift+~ at from overhead view to open the secret chest.

Run Duke Nukem using the flag "asp" without the quotes (in lower case) in the
command line. Then you can press these keys together in the game to activate

Press E+A+T for full health
Press G+O+D for a funny message in the shareware version
Press N+U+K for a random gun

To increase scraps flying, presss B+I+G+1-9. 1-9 is the number representing
the amount of flying metal you want. 5 is average.
You do scraps well your robot is starting their winning pose and you do
destructs when they are doing their scrap.

Press M+F+X to get infinite ammo, all keys, the boat, and infinite pick axes.
Pharoh's Tomb
Turn scroll lock on, then use grey + to go through levels, then turn scroll
lock off to enter that level.

There is also a cheat mode. To access this, after the animated LA
(Lucas Arts) logo, move you joystick up, press fire, down, press fire,
left, press fire, and then right and press fire again. You will know that
you entered it correctly when you hear a phone ringing and then a voice
saying, "Lucas Arts." In the game, type the level number to go ANYWHERE in
the game. The level numbers are 1-9, and A-F for levels 10-15 respectively.
Pressing the numeric keypad's + key, all damage is reset to 0. Pressing
escape skips to the next cutscene.

Press E+L+M for lids and slime.
Press P+A+M for level warp, then type the level to warp to.

Type B,A,L,D,R,I,C during a level to activate the following cheat codes:

Comanche Maximum Overkill
In any drop menu, hold backspace and type K,Y,L,E. You will see a menu
called cheats, and will be fully revived.
Sim City
To get $10,000, disable disasters, turn CAPSLOCK on, and type F,U,N,D.
You can get some interesting effects you can get by typeing the following
things with CAPSLOCK on:
