A baltant attempt to cash in on the popularity of the Vagina Monologues, writer/performers Arj Barker, Doug Benson and Tony Camin have created THE MARIJUANA-LOGUES, a collecdtion of humorous monologues about, well, marijuana. The three performers, all national touring stand-up comics and accomplished actors, take turns regaling the audience with tales of Marijuana use, for an evening of hilarity you will not soon forget (unless you smoke pot, of course).

This verbal journey will not glorify drug use, but it will show that the ritual of pot smoking can be a thing of sustenance, humor and creativity. Either that or you will think, ?what a bunch of dumb potheads.? In any event, this is a party you don?t want to miss. THE MARIJUANA-LOGUES is a hysterical evening of entertainment that will leave you wanting to ?spread the herb: to all your friends.

THE CAST

Arj Barker

Arj signed up for his first open mike at the age of 19, he began touring nationally by the age of 22, and in September of 1994, he placed 4th in the prestigious Seattle Comedy Competition. In 1994 Arj made3 his first tour of Europe and in 1997 he took his act up to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. His one-man show, Letters to America not only sold out, but won him the coveted Perrier Best Newcomer Award, one of the highest honors bestowed to an act at the festival. Hardly a newcomer anymore, Arj is a regular on the Tonight Show, The Late Show with David Letterman, Late Night with Conan O?Brien and he S a correspondent on Comedy Central?s hit show, Batttlebots.

Doug Benson

Doug Benson is a stand-up comedian and actor whose recent television credits include NBC?s Friends, Comedy Central?s Premium Blend, NBC?s Late Friday, VH1?s The List and four appearances on the Late Late Show with Craig Kilbourn on CBS. But wait, there?s more! Doug can be seen making fun of people more successful than he is as part of the Fashion Police feature in US Weekly Magazine. He himself was well reviewed for his performance as Andy Warhol in Waiting for Studio 54 at the Hudson Theater in Los Angeles, and he co-wrote and co-starred in Susan Says Cheese at the HBO/Warner Bros. Workspace. He can be seen in New Line?s Run, Ronnie, Run.

Tony Camin

A San Francisco native, Tony has performed for audineces all over the world except the dumb countries that he didn?t want to go to anyway. His quick wit combined with a winning stage presence keeps his act from being bogged down with ?material.? A regular performer in Las Vegas, Tony has appeared at he US Comedy Arts Festival and on Late Night with Conan O'Brien. Since moving to Hollywood he has written on shows for Comedy Central and NBC. None are still on.
