On The Moral Aspects of Stupidity

by f4113n

As any christian theologian can tell you, "god" disapproves of "sin". "sin" is defined as the committing various acts such as fornication, murder, idolatry, or theft-or, depending on what kind of sadistic bastard the particular theologian you question is, "sin" can be as simple as the thought of committing one of the many sinful acts (perhaps it is even a sin to think about the sin committed when one contemplates a sin..?).

What few if any theologians will tell you is that stupidity is a sin. yes, by decree of any denomination's deity/ies, the act of being a half-wit is a sin punishable by death. how can one come to this conclusion? example: when one holds a metal object above one's head on the top of a grassy hill in the middle of a raging storm, one is stupid. and what has been often hailed as the choice weapon of the deities? lightning. lightning will kill stupid people who find themselves standing on the top of grassy hills in the middle of raging storms.

Similarly, things like physics, chemistry, and social interaction are all geared to rid the earth of stupidity. granted, one's intelligence cannot always be directly related to one's propensity to engage in stupid activity-this is seen with children, whose innate, god-given curiousity often leads them to do stupid things. but remember, the super/natural is not entirely unforgiving: children are much more resilient than their adult counterparts, and when a child dies as a result of some stupid act, it can be assumed that said child was destined to do the world no good-as the deity/ies responsible must have foreseen.

Yes, it is apparent that the only sin found unforgivable by whomever is behind our world is that of showing absolutely no respect for the simple and obvious workings of one's own environment (and perhaps, also, the people who inhabit it). keep this in mind in your dealings with nature and your fellow human beings; so long as you give heed to the most obvious and direct ramifications of your actions, you will most likely find yourself among those whose sins are not unintentional.
