Although we have tried to make this listing as exhaustive as possible,
we are aware that it is not complete. The Hafler Trio appeared on several
compilations, released miscellaneous items in very limited editions and
performed installations, lectures and radio broadcasts, that are not
referenced in what follows.
If you have additional information or wish to make corrections, please

ABOUT THE HAFLER TRIO
=====================

The Hafler Trio was formed in 1981 by Dr Edward Moolenbeek, Christopher R
Watson (formerly a member of Cabaret Voltaire) and Andrew M McKenzie.
It would seem that, some years later (probably between 1987 and 1989,
but that's only a guess), Moolenbeek and Watson ceased any form of
active collaboration. Now the Hafler 'Trio' is a 'collective enchanted
loom' centered around Mr McKenzie and receiving inspiration by many
different people, among whom are Zbigniew Karkowski, John Duncan, Annie
Sprinkle, Adi Newton (T.A.G.C., CLOCKDVA) and Genesis P-Orridge (Throbbing
Gristle, Psychic TV).

"My definition of music is just organised sound" -- Andrew M McKenzie, 1987
