Salvia Divinorum and its Unique Effects

I know some people are determined to shrug salvia off as an urban legend. I say these people haven't smoked it properly. Every time I have smoked Salvia, I have tripped very very intense trips.

Salvia really IS the strongest hallucinogen known to man. I have tried shrooms and acid, and they dont even compare to a full blown level 5 salvia trip.

I first tried salvia after venturing downtown to a headshop with my friends jeff and josh. Jeff had heard of it and he had tried it before. He claimed it worked and it was amazing. I was intrigued and decided to pay for half of the 20 dollar gram.

We took the salvia to Jeff's house and sat down to smoke. We decided to take turns so we could sit for eachother, but we quickly abandoned the notion, opting instead for a rotation much like that of a pot circle... Jeff went first. He took a mediocre hit and he got kinda spacey. I tried to ask him what he felt, but he did not answer.

I was getting frustrated that it was taking so long to get my turn so I just grabbed the bowl and took a mediocre hit. I didnt hold it in... that was a mistake. It just made me have an uncontrollable urge to laugh my ass off. I passed it to Josh and he immediately began laughing uncontrollably. Although it wasnt a trip, it was pretty fun not being able to control my laughter at all.

When it was my turn to hit it again, I decided to take a bigger hit and to hold it in like I hold in my pot. Jeff came out of his trip and put on some really trippy electronica/industrial music.

"... I feel weird. I didnt even take a hit..."

I had of course, but the salvia trip made me forget I had hit it at all. Before I knew it, I was in a strange new world. My mouth felt really weird and I heard ticking as my body felt itself falling to the right. I was in a snowy mountain valley. It was really pretty looking. I was on a boat floating through the sky. I was a slave making cookies. I liked being the slave though. It wasnt like it was a bad thing. It was an odd feeling. I think that I was a slave because the music Jeff had put on said "slave to cave" over and over and over. It made sense after the fact.

I dont really remember many details of the trip after that except when I was coming out of it. My mouth felt so weird, like it was full of liquid. I thought I was drooling on myself and I thoguht I heard Josh and Jeff say I was in fact drooling. I wiped my mouth and felt nothing. I was still dazed and disoriented because I was still tripping mildly.

When I came out of the trip, I asked if I had drooled. Jeff said that I was yelling "She's drooling shes drooling." I thoguht it was them saying it. It was only myself. Like I said, Salvia is an intense trip.

~~The Second Trip To Strangeland~~

The 2nd time I smoked salvia was on my 18th birthday. We were at Jeff's house and It was Jeff, Josh, me and my friend Ashley who decided to smoke the salvia. Everyone else was drunk or passed out or huffing freon (which Id never personally do). I was already high on pot but I decided to trip anyway.

I took a hit and I forgot I had smoked again. I proclaimed, "I didnt even take a hit you guys and Im starting to trip!! I got a contact trip!!"

I was of course excited thinking that I got a contact trip, which isnt even possible, but it seemed like it was real.

I started to trip heavily. Again my mouth felt weird. I felt like I had drool all over my face and like I was wiping my face all over Jeff's carpet. The my body was falling over and everything turned into weird boxes and shoes. I was on a conveyor belt and I heard the ticking again as my body felt itself laying down, although I never actually laid down. I saw a rubber ducky on the belt with me and then there were a lot of rubber duckies. Soon the boxes tuned into weird picture books and I was a tiny toy amongst them. It was awesome. When coming out of the trip, I felt extremely disoriented and awkward. Ashley had taken a hit and her eyes were focused on the carpet and she looked terrified. I found out later that she had a bad trip. She saw demons and things. It was her first hallucinogen. It was 20x salvia. NOT A GOOD IDEA!! start with 5x. Its less intense. I started on 10x the first time because I had previous hallucinating experiences. I was able to handle it. Jeff said his trip made him see his fireplace turn into a door to another world, but he couldnt recall the world. Josh again did not trip because he got the last hit and he did not hold it in or take a big enough hit to warrant a trip.

~~ For Josh, 3rd times a Charm ~~

The last time I did salvia was this past week on Monday. I found it laying on my floor in my room. I had lost a bag a few months ago and it was like a sign that I was meant to do it on Monday. I was not going to argue with a sign like that!! Josh Jeff and I went to a library in a nearby town and snuck to the forest behind it. We smoked the salvia out of a free base. I dont remember going into the trip. I heard ticking and I went on a conveyor belt again. Everything turned to boxes. I was having fun on the belt until Josh touched me and the library turned into a medieval castle and I was a peasant stealing from the merchants booths in the town surrounding it. I freaked out because I thoguht there were cops chasing me. I never moved or got up but I felt like I was running. I was in reality sititng in the exact same position as I was when I went into the trip. I was very afraid. I felt so much drool in my mouth. The fear only lasted a few moments. Then I was back on the conveyor belt. I felt like I was turning into a toy again. I love feeling like Im turning into a toy. Its the greatest. Its what brings me back to salvia. I came out of it and I was confused because this kid Corey was there and I didnt remember him being there. I was the only one that tripped behind the library, but that didnt mean Jeff and Josh werent going to trip...

Later that night, we went to this kids house and smoked it with him. I had alrady tripped and I wanted to make sure Josh and this other kid could trip. So I made Josh take firsts. He took a hit and I told him to keep hitting and hold it in. He did and then all of a sudden he started laughing and going "whoa!!!" He got up and ran to the corner of the room laughing. He fell down into the window and kept laughing and laughing and laughing. He got up and walked back over next to me and continued laughing for a looooooong time. When he came out of his trip he was confused and asked if he had gotten up and fell somewhere. I told him he had and he just laughed some more and said his trip was awesome. The other kid had a mild trip because there wasnt a lot left.

Smoke salvia. Its worth it. Just take a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge hit and hold it in. It is incredible and makes you feel like you are more open and free. Its definetly a good experience.
