Drugs: Typical Alternative Route

There's a gazillion theories and supportive facts a narcotics user could submit to someone opposing it's use- that are very true and relevant. One that many overlook, is the fact that any black market products usually started with the big man at the top, and worked it's way down to the lost adolescent freedom fighter trying to numb emotions with chemicals in vials and baggies.

Pre-research on the topic, it's very clear to me that all drugs, even marijuana, are just another effort to keep poor people poor, and protesters coming down from a binge so they do not have the intellegance and strategic ability to fight the system with knowledge and power.

Films such as half baked, up in smoke, and scary movie are loaded with all kinds of stereotypes and comical scenes where drug use is seen as a common alternative for outcasts and minorities. I'm not saying the directors and writers of the film got on the telephone with the president and confirmed they would create such scenes to control the underpopulation of america. It's not that simple.

Now you're probably wondering "then why would they air commercials opposing drug use?" From my perspective, the answer is clear. A good majority of teen awareness and anti-drug commercials, contain teen actors that seem to be in the age group of 12-16. As a child watches the commercials, his only negative view of drugs in general, is that drugs are bad for children in his or her age group. As the child ages, he is generally allowed to view harder content, thus bringing his eyes and ears to films and programs promoting drug use. So since the majority of commercials target a younger age group, their purpose is cancelled out by the fact the child will more than likely be introduced to media material that has an opposite perspective. The person now has basically three choices. A. Himh/er is affected by positive media and chooses not to abuse drugs in his/her lifetime. B. Him/her is pressured by both medias subconsciously, and dabbles with drugs, but eventually climaxes with it's negative affects resulting in exiting the drug culture. or C. The child is influenced by negative media and becomes a classic drug addict until death or prison, in which the person is either a number or a slave for the rest of their life.

This is the media using means of control to keep things balanced and running smooth. So the steretype and life style you choose may seem to be the most rebellious, or succesful. But if you analyze yourself, you may come to find your actions have been the product of media control, benefiting the big guys on top. And your image of who and what you are, or were meant to be, could very well be a doctored persona handed down from generation to generation.

Smoking marijuana because it relaxes you and free's your spirit does not make you a revolutionary, and does not negatively affect the government, and only gives the authority figures you despise more of a reason to throw you behind bars and force you to operate in a controlled environment, far more crooked then the one most of us are not pleased with right now.

Jimi hendrix, Mozart, Jim Morrison, and even Kurt Kobaine had creative outlets that never made it to the next level because their braincells were being destroyed by plants and minerals.
