Two documents on lies of FBI regarding flight
800 and the truth of freindly fire (Open Letter and Sheep/Terrorist
articles), and one document on CIA METC bomb technology and
other CIA ties to the Oklahoma City bombing have apparantly
drawn intense interest from the intelligence community. These were
originally posted a matter of days ago. Within 72 hours of posting,
a "retired" CIA agent/operative known to me from prior surveillance
of myself which was undoubtedly related to my (then) post of 400
CIA fronts/200 CIA mind control fronts, began dogging me at my
place of work. He did not know that I had earlier made him.
However, he must have gotten a clue when he lost me, only to
discover me getting the license number of his (rented -- believed to
have flown in from the Salt Lake City area) vehicle. The next day, a
person believed to be "higher in the food chain" was there at work,
and he spent some time and even egaged me in conversation (a
retail environment). After an extended period, he left, just before
my regular lunch time. I found him at my regular lunch spot, where
he again spoke to me. Very nice fellow. Now, today, on my way to
work I noticed a mini-van with illegal dark glass on all four sides
escorting me part way to work. Impossible to see inside. As I go to
lunch, my store's security team pulls me aside and warns me that
the same vehicle stopped near my vehicle at the outer perimeter of
the parking lot and four men dressed in identical dark suites spent
some time inspecting my (wife's) car. This had taken place about an
hour earlier. I walked to lunch and returned only to find the same
vehicle tagging along an access road somewhat parallel to my path.
Undoubtedly, someone has taken exception to my Web site. It is
either for this page, or my flight 800 page, which demonstrates FBI
deleiberatly lied in a way that can ONLY mean a cover up is in
place with respect to friendly fire shootdown of flight 800. Please
copy these pages and mirror/distribute widely to prevent censorship
of the truth -- just in case. As an aside, this is yet another chapter in
intelligence communities attempts to silence the truth -- see When
the FBI came. This time, the poor slobs didn't realize they did this
under the watchfull eye of a security camera with a 24 hr. tape --
which was how I was tipped off in the first place. Incidentally, I am
not depressed...
From Fatal Rebirth, Chapter Four. Copyright c 1996 All righs
reserved. It starts with a copy of a technical report given by an
investigative writer named Thorpe to former FBI agent Jim
Meresco, who quit the agency over problems over FBI handling of
the Oklahoma and World Trade Center cases -- himself believing
them to be a cover up of what really happened. The story line is
fiction, based on fact, with factual footnotes (provided by me and
placed relatively close to the text-- not part of the METC
documentation) to attest the point. All characters represented in the
story line are based on real persons, many of whom contributed
material or information to the work. The book frequently relies on
insertion of entire reproductions or quoted portions of real factual
documentation or other contributions, both in the main text and in
the appendix section, which is as large as many novels, alone.
METC is absolutely real, manufactured at CIA facilities within a
few hours drive of my home. Had, in fact, intelligence community
locals not targeted me four years ago for having come into
posession of a document I understood little about and originally
presumed to be a fabrication, I would not have dug into matters to
the extent required to gain final understanding of the terrible truths
which lay behind it -- and resulting in Fatal Rebirth. Excerpt
begins:
Project METC Summary Report
The chief difference in METC unit (Multiple Explosives
Transitional Container) design over traditional explosive devices
moves away from a densely packed explosive core towards a large
volume of highly explosive but low-density mass in the form of a
gaseous cloud. In the normal bomb all explosive energy comes from
a tightly packed core and must drive outward against air pressure
and objects it encounters. It rapidly bleeds off energy at the square
of the distance as it accumulates a wall of pressure resistance and a
mass of heavy debris, which it must continually regather and push
along.
The new design starts as a small device but transforms itself
through simple means from a dense-core technology to a much
larger gaseous-cloud state. Igniting the explosive cloud at any
peripheral or central point creates a chain-reaction-like and
progressively growing explosive force. As the force of the
explosion moves outward, it continues to ignite fresh explosive
materials as encountered and gains momentum rather than loosing
it. Further, because the gaseous cloud is efficiently mixed explosive
materials combined with abundant free-air oxygen, ignition is far
more complete and productive - leaving little or no chemical
residue or traditional flash evidence (other than a burn signature,
which any investigator would presume to be from ordinary fire)on
immediately encountered objects. The net result is as if a
significantly larger central core device had been detonated, with the
complete and even combustion making difficult any aftermath
analysis as to the true nature of the explosives used. Finally, the
shape of the cloud and the ignition point within the cloud, if
properly controlled, provides an extremely easy means to create
shaped charge effects despite a relatively free-form original cloud
shape.
Termed an electro-hydrodynamic gaseous fuel device (fn1), it
produces a three-stage explosion through a process described as a
highly focused, A-neutronic (fn2) energy transfer. The first
detonation would be a small, low-volume explosion provided by
just a few ounces of PETN explosive (fn3). This is placed within a
relatively small central core shaft suspended from the top of the
bomb container such that it is surrounded by a liquid compound of
aqueous amonium nitrate. The core shaft containing the explosive
is itself made up of a compressed and hardened compound of
aluminum silicate and N2O4, which starts as a slurry prior to
application of a high-pressure baking process. Except for the
explosive charge protected from external forces within, these items
are all safe from accidental detonation as relatively safe-to-handle
materials.
The first explosion's sole function is something akin to shaking a
warm soda bottle violently with only a thumb to cover the opening.
The relatively small explosion providing three key effects:
reduction of the inner core shaft to a microfine powder; mixture of
the resulting powder and aqueous solution under violently induced
pressure in order to cause complete chemical absorption; and force-
opening the container to support erruption of contents into a
gaseous state. The cylindrical bomb casing, which has precut scores
or weak points to insure it ruptures in a sawtooth pattern about its
middle, splits into two flowered halves which blossom outward
from the pressure. The upper half shoots upward as if shot from a
cannon, while the lower portion remains cannon-like and in place
on its base.
Milliseconds later, a second explosion of a larger quantity of more
powerful PDTN (fn4) material is set off at the bottom of the
container. Timing is critical in milliseconds as too-long a delay
would allow the flash of the explosion to prematurely ignite the
gaseous cloud. This detonation must take place before the cloud
has been adequately oxygenated and so expanded as to be reactant
to the flash, but delayed to the optimum point for final blast effects.
The ideal detonator would likely be some form of barometric
sensing device looking for the changes in pressure as the
explosion's forced evacuation begins to drop back towards normal
levels. Simple electronic timming devices could work adequately
but would not allow optimum performance in field application, as
the variables of bomb placement relative to large objects/structures
and open/confined spaces can impact on timing needs in
incalcuable ways.
This secondary explosive is housed within its own shaped charge
container formed into the bottom of the lower bomb casing. The
shape and higher force of the second blast forces the bottom of the
casing to separate from its base and fly upward. In this action, it
will burst open even wider into its own flower petal shape,
providing additional turbulent mixing of the forming cloud with
free air. The violent turbulence, in turn, causes portions of the
cloud to become highly charged electrostatically as it continues to
form a huge and turbulent mushroom immediately over ground
zero. Explosive potential has now been reached, though optimal
performance is dictated by cloud size, shape, and density -- which
are again variables effected by the bomb's placement and
surroundings.
The cloud is made up of a mixture of the Aqueous Ammonium
Nitrate with the pulverized aluminum Silicate and N2O4
compound. Once mixed with each other and free-air oxygen under
force of the first two detonations, the resulting cloud is extremely
explosive in nature, electrostatically charged, decidedly cold, and
awaiting only an opportunity to detonate. The shape of the cloud
itself, due to the nature of the cannonade-like upward flight of the
upper casing, and the blunter and delayed action of the lower
casing, is somewhat tear shaped - though designs can be made to
produce other shapes by nature of the original container's design.
This can be a key factor in fixing the shape and focus of the blast
effect.
In airburst explosions provided by conventional weapons, the blast
effect is minimal due to a rapid bleed of energy in all directions as
blast radius increases, with only those items beneath ground zero
being subjected to blast exposure. Ground explosions, however,
provide a means of deflecting otherwise wasted engergy into a more
desired radial blast effect. In nuclear technology, the reverse is true.
A ground blast wastes energy in vaporizing and throwing up of
tremendous quantities of ground materials where an air blast
expands to maximum heat and blast effect forces before comming
into contact with ground objects -- forming a broader circle of
maximum impact. An airburst shockwave travels in air, a light
medium, whereas the ground burst starts with solid matter thrown
up by the blast - a heavier medium. An angular shockwave in a light
medium tends to reflect when striking a solid, immovable plane
such as the earth. This reradiates the energy outward and back
upward (fn5), further enhancing the shockwave effects against any
encountered ground structures.
If the resulting METC unit cloud can be triggered from the top
down, energy transfer drives the explosion downward and takes
advantage of the tear-shape cloud. To repeat, as the force of the
explosion moves outward from the ignition point, it continues to
ignite fresh explosive materials as encountered and the blast gains
momentum rather than loosing. By controlling the original ignition
point, the blast effect can become highly focused and magnified.
Yet, as an airblast, the outermost zone of actual blast damage is
somewhat lessened, limiting collateral damage to a given, focused
blast perimeter. This is because the focused energy deflects upward
instead of radiating away from ground zero parallel to the ground.
Only the secondary shock wave effects would have impact on
surrounding or secondary structures or objects -- such as blowing
out windows, a peculiar trademark of the device (fn5) which may
dictate or limit applications should the nature of the device become
public and covert application be required without revealing the type
of explosives used. In the case of nuclear technology, the secondary
shock wave damage is much more significant due to the massive
scale of the original explosive force, and so, the effective radius of
the bomb is increased dramatically. METC, unless constructed on a
much larger scale, need not be so described.
Where traditional military explosives provide detonation velocities
of 7,000-8,100 feet per second at the blast point. These bleed off at
the square of the distance from the center of ground zero. The
METC unit device, in ideal applications, is capable of much higher
performance in the [REDACTED] range over a larger ground zero
area equal to cloud diameter -- though destructive forces
immediately beneath ground zero are noticably less than at the edge
of the cloud and beyond (fn6). Final velocities can be concievably
higher with optimal environmental placements, bomb design, and
timming. These higher velocities provide several magnitudes greater
damage potential as destructive capacity can be said to increase at
the square of the force applied.
This weapon would be best applied to specific hard targets (fn7)
where maximum localized damage was considered more important
than broad-based damaged to broader concentrations of soft targets
(fn8). Its unique nature defeats normal aftermath analysis and can
therefore be applied in covert actions freely, though some effort to
misdirect investigations may be required in order to insure that no
undue attention is placed on the unique blast characteristics or the
absence of traditional flash evidence and chemical residues.
The third and final explosion, which to an observer would be seen
as a second explosion due to the mere milliseconds of delay
between the first two, is timed to coincide with maximum
effectiveness of the expanding cloud. The cloud's expansion rate
falls off at the square of the distance from the explosion (fn9). For
a devices relatively small in size, a proper cloud of suitable
destructive capability could be achieved in a relatively few seconds
initial expansion.
Anything within the targeted blast area, is pulverized by the highly
focused nature of what would otherwise be viewed as a relatively
small blast. The damage effect is not dissimilar to the visual of an
explosion under water, where a violent and rapid expansion takes
place and then collapses inward on itself. In this case, however, as
are no great hydraulic pressures to contend with, the greatest
destruction takes place within a focused perimeter, as a normalized
shock wave continues on. The collapse and shock waves, relative to
the size of the large-volume gaseous bomb - is a remarkably lesser
pressure more in keeping with the size of the original compact
device.
Timing is provided by a barometric device (fn10) which senses the
normalization in pressures as the cloud thins at the base and air
rushes back to fill the void - the point where expansion begins to
falter against air seeking to rush back into the void created by the
first explosions. Remember the under-water explosion visual. The
final detonating device, along with timing controls and bomb
activation and triggering mechanisms for the entire weapon, is
housed in an bomb base which remains in tact on the ground after
the first two explosions. Resting on legs of wood, plastic, or teflon,
it is electrically insulated, though there is a ground wire established
for the final triggering circuit.
While it contains a battery to operate the initial timing and
triggering circuits, it also contains a quartz-crystal-based pizo-
electric device (fn10) capable of producing many thousands of volts
of electricity when "flexed", a phenomenon which occurs naturally
as a result of the downward force of the first and second explosion
against the housing. This generates a large and very high-voltage
charge which temporarily has no where to go, the crystal becoming
its own capacitor. At a given point, the barometric timing device
trips, and the charge runs up monofiliment wires attached to bottom
half of the outer casing. As the casing is thrown high into the air,
the filaments are played out from spools built into the base using
technology and parts borrowed from wire-guided surface missiles.
When the circuit is closed, these carry the charge to the cloud to
produce the final, devastating explosion.
A design variant can apply the final voltage to bare filaments to
create a flash-bulb effect which ignites the explosion
simultaneously about a vertical column above ground zero.
Alternatively, by use of heavier insulated wires stripped bare at a
given point, the ignition can be caused to originate at any point
between the base and the high-flying lower casing. Finally, the
charge could also be applied either from the base itself for
traditional blast effects, or from a peripheral position to the cloud
(if calculations of cloud size and shape were adequate) for an
unusual laterally-focused blast effect. However, this would be a
tougher challenge to figure out and control ignition points and
timing, especially since variables such as wind patterns and
intensity, and air displacements from nearby structures, would need
to be considered. Regardless of the focus method employed,
because pizo-electric charges are only high in voltage, but not in
amperage, the insulated wires do not fuse, and can carry the voltage
in tact to its intended destination for ignition.
This bomb design can be subject to great miniaturization. It is
possible to build a bomb the size of a soda pop (with simplified
design components, such as use of blasting caps) can for use in any
precise target application. It might concievably even be made to
look like an innocent pop can with the pull tab actually triggering
the bomb, creating a number of interesting options for delivery and
detonation. To bring down an aircraft, for instance, simply leave
such a device in the magazine pouch of the seat back and exit the
aircraft awaiting a passenger, at some point, to discover it and ask
for some ice.
The fingerprint of a small-scale METC device applied in an aircraft
or other enclosed envrironment would be miniscule traces of PDTN
but no real traditional signature of explosives at all -- no flash
damage, no normal residue levels. There would be mostly fire
damage of mysterious origin, and since the blast origin point would
be the full size of the cloud (most of the cabin), there would seem
no blast point or traditional bomb damage at all -- just as if the
aircraft "went to pieces". Investigators would be hard pressed to
conclude explosives as the means of destruction.
Likewise, the bomb could enjoy great economy of scale as a
weapon of mass destruction, concievably on a nuclear scale, but
without traditional radiation problems. This would have significant
strategic significance as targets could safely be occupied by troops
immediately after attack. Seperate studies are under way to deal
with the impact of such technology on military planning and
foreign policy (fn11).
At this time, construction techniques and quality control
requirements remain highly sophisticated and at a level which
would defy normal mass production. Unless willing to accept
significant performance loss, it requires custom design and
construction for any given application. As such, it lends itself to
uses perhaps best appreciated by the intelligence apparat. Therfore,
its existence should not become general knowledge within other
agencies such as DOD (fn12) unless further studies can find such a
move advantageous. However, since the unique characteristics of
the bomb could conceiveably arrouse great curiosity in aftermath
investigations, its use as a covert tool should be undertaken with
great restraint and reserved for highly selective application.
Additional Note (update to this posting, not part of original
document): An old CIA spy vetern of the name of Werbell has been
linked to the OK bombing by several informants dealing with
independant investigators. He in turn, has been linked by Hougan
and others to CIA special weapons development, such as the Ingram
9mm sub-machine pistol with silencer (whispering death) and the
B.R. Fox company (custom explosive devices). It would be a
natural extension of his experience to have been brought into the
METC project for "applications." Part of the investigation also
includes links with a German spy recruited by CIA, one of whom
speculation has focused on links to "terrorist" bombings in
Germany which may have been staged by the intelligence
communities for political gain against opponent groups blamed for
the blasts. This story is under development as you read. More is
likely to follow.
This technical description was concluded with 1987 newspaper
articles and other documents about a strange series of events
involving a CIA project (fn13) and certain CIA operatives (fn14).
Hercules Research Corporation, a California company, maintained
a warehouse in the small Washington State coastal community of
Aberdeen. Full of special equipment and bomb parts tied to the
project, it was a secure facility with significant security resources
protecting it, including a highly unusual arrangement with a
General at the Pentagon to provide security backup in the form of
"special units" from Fort Lewis. Despite this, someone managed to
waltz in with several rental trucks and, having forced open the
heavy doors, start loading what they wanted.
Incredibly, Police showed up but made no arrests, letting the
people leave after confiscating the few materials already taken from
the building. Meanwhile the Police enter the building and become
concerned at all the strange things, which while actually related to
bomb making, are so technically sophisticated that there is no way
to tell by looking. In awe at the strange and obviously expensive
equipment, they demand that the owners come down to secure the
building, demonstrate proper ownership, and provide explanation
of the items -- coming down harder on the supposed good guys than
the would-be thieves. Despite an obvious breakdown in security
and the nearly successful theft, and despite an obviously flawed
Police intervention, there was no effort to improve security. This
would prove convenient for someone, since two weeks later, and
after the General mysteriously orders his people to withdraw
support without explanation, seven U-Haul trucks and a whole crew
of people literally take the doors off their hinges in the middle of
the night.
Once again, Police arrive, but this time one of the thieves has a
"note" from an ex-girl-friend of a principle manager (himself later
determined to be a member of the intelligence community), saying
that its "OK to take a few things." The Police, which before had
been so careful to challenge documentation of ownership, left the
group to take what they wanted based on this flimsy document -
millions of dollars worth of special equipment and difficult to
manufacture bomb materials vanish without trace. Apparently
police believed that it reasonably took seven trucks to carry off "a
few things" and that removing the doors from the hinges in the
middle of the night did not constitute breaking and entering or
demonstrate reasonable cause for suspicion.
The items taken were later described as highly classified by the
manager - using CIA terms like "SCI Special Ticket" (fn15). The
material on the robbery was described as a "typical plausible denial
tactic" by Thorpe, who said it was a ploy designed to demonstrate
that if anything really nasty ever happened, it was someone else's
fault, not CIA. After all, someone stole the stuff, didn't they? The
suggestion was that it was far too convenient to have so many
security systems fail, to have the Army back off, and for the Police
to turn into virtual accomplices. It all smacked of a typical CIA
operation. They stole from themselves, was his seemingly justified
conclusion (fn16).
Meresco, not thinking himself expert, was not necessarily
convinced by the bomb material, though much of what he saw
seemed solid and looked like it might withstand closer technical
scrutiny. It could certainly explain two mysteries: That pillars close
to ground zero remained standing while pillars further away did not
-- something an gaseous airburst could achieve but a nitrate
explosion could not; and that the crater was too small for the
quantity of nitrate explosives required to destroy the building -- but
a suitable size for the type of explosive proposed by Thorpe. Any
remaining reservations crumbled under the weight of several
additional facts provided by Thorpe.
Oklahoma newspaper clippings and unaired witness interview
transcripts provided with the materials by Thorpe demonstrated that
many witnesses had told of hearing two explosions several seconds
apart. While Meresco had heard this before himself from witnesses,
he knew that FBI had discounted this as mistaken echoes. However,
Thorpe also provided proof that there had indeed been a second
blast. Dr. Ken Louzza, seismologist at the University of Oklahoma
had provided seismic records clearly showing two blasts at almost
exactly ten seconds apart originating from the same city epicenter
(fn17). This fit the characteristics of the high-tech bomb described
by Thorpe.
The second proof was a long list of detailed attacks of FBI claims
by an extremely qualified and impressive expert, General Benton K.
Parton, USAF, retired. The General was apparantly a 25-year
veteran of Air Force weapons research, design, testing, and
management of air weapons and delivery systems against a broad
structural spectrum of targets. This included work at the Ballistic
Research Laboratories and the Air Force Armament Technology
Laboratory. The General also served as founding chairman of the
joint service Air Munitions Requirements and Development
Committee under the Secretary of Defense and was the Air Force
System Command's Special Assistant for Advanced Weapons,
holding an M.S. degree in aeronautical (armament) engineering and
having completed coursware for a doctorate in operations research
and statistics.
In short, the General had written (fn18) personally delivered letters
on May 18th of 1995 to 24 senators and some 30 members of the
House, in which he said: "I can say with a high level of confidence
that the damage pattern on the reinforced concrete superstructure
could not possibly have been attained from the single truck bomb
without supplementing demolition charges at some of the
reinforced column bases. The total incompatibility with a single
truck bomb lies in the fact that either some of the columns
collapsed that should not have collapsed or some of the columns
are still standing that should have collapsed and did not."
Thorp pointed out that while Parton was favoring a multiple
internal/external charge theory, he, too, was unaware of the METC
technology and had therefore not analyzed the facts against such a
possibility. The General's main concern over how a larger, heavier
constructed and more reinforced support beam might be fallen from
the blast when lighter, smaller, less strong beams closer to the blast
were not. Thorp pointed out that with the gaseous cloud, the
explosive force builds as the cloud ignites, the greater force being
at the outer edges of the cloud -- further away from ground zero --
and the overall downward effect nearer to ground zero would apply
lower toppeling forces to nearer columns than the more radial
forces at the perimeter.
The third bit of information which had been withheld from FBI in
the field had to do with the Grand Jury which indicted McVeigh
(fn19). It seems a grand juror, sworn to secrecy regarding Grand
Jury proceedings, felt so convinced that there was a federal rat
under foot and that McVeigh was being railroaded that she elected
to violate her secrecy requirments and talk to a writer who was an
aquaintence of Thorpe's. Quotes from his work from that interview
were rather telling. She told how the Jury was charged with
determining if indictments were warranted against any of five
persons seen at the bomb site and under original suspicion. This
Jim knew. What he did not know was that all of the men other than
McVeigh were apparantly ignored and even protected by the
prosecuting attorneys from examinatin in the proceedings. Even
though identified, they were never called nor were any questions of
witnessed directed against them. It turned out that at least one of
the men was apparantly a government agent of some sort,
suggesting that some government agency had a role in the bombing.
Even though it was brought out in testimony that one of the men
did rent a truck with McVeigh, and that there was another Ryder
truck rented by yet another of the suspects, prosecuters still
insisted these men had nothing to do with the bombing and were
not suspect.
The juror, based on facts presented and the way McVeigh
conducted himself, concluded that McVeigh himself likely believed
he had been working for a special operations group under
government orders and that he would not actually end up being
prosecuted for the crime -- that McVeigh understood his mission
was to be a patsy, which probably explained why a man in the top
5% of his military peers and considered officer material would do
so many seemingly stupid things: the asking for directions and
ignoring them to drive by video cameras, the purchase of nitrates,
renting a motel room and the Ryder truck under his own name and
leaving fingerprints on the related documents, driving away in a car
with no plates in a way guaranteed to have him stopped by police,
and then having a gun in plain sight guaranteeing any lawman to
scrutinize him further... it all sounded a awful lot like the
unreasonable stupidity exhibited by the World Trade Center
"bombers" -- who were themselves "former" intelligence operatives
for CIA and may have also likely been operating on instructions
from government handlers -- doing so unaware of the danger and
nature of the trap being sprung upon them, or willing to take the
fall under orders.
This notion might also explain why, while the prosecution brought
in a lot of witnesses to say McVeigh went to gun shows and did a
lot of things which circumstantially painted him as a general bad
guy, they brought in none of the witnesses aluded to which saw him
at the bomb site with the truck. It was believed that this was
because the witnesses would also tell of the other person or persons
seen with him, and that these might turn out to be persons in need
of protection because of govenment ties. It seemed obvious to all
concerned that evidence was being withheld. Even McVeigh
refused to tell about any others present with him that day -- the
same people the govenment refused to call or question. Thorpe
smelled that Federal rat -- why would the government protect the
same people McVeigh was protecting, unless they were all working
for the same boss. Jim agreed the evidence was mounting that
McVeigh was the good soldier taking the fall, most likely for
reasons of "national security"... of the fascist secret government
kind feared by Thorpe.
Then there was this. There were persistent rummors of two or more
unexploded bombs being found in the building by rescue workers.
Something Jim had heard before, but there was no official FBI
record. Thorpe suggested that by placing such bombs for discovery,
a second layer of defence against determining the use of the fuel-air
device was provided. Should anyone object seriously to the nitrate
bomb theory, they could trot out the additional bombs -- which fit
General Parton's observations. Jimwas aware of a witness who
originally made statements that he saw the building collapse inward
upon itself as if blown up from within by several charges, not
unlike building demolitions seen on TV. He later recanted, and Jim
wondered why. In light of the missing unexploded bombs, it now
made sense -- no one challenging the nitrate story. One would also
have to ask, if the bombing was actually from within, why blow up
the Ryder truck? It simply did not make sense that secondary
bombs within the building would need exist unless Thorp's theory
was correct. The only need for secondary bombs was as defensive
fodder to explain the unique signature of a METC application, as
suggested neccessary by the author of the METC Summary Report.
This all sent chills through Jim's sensibilities about the state of
American Justice. These were magnified when he read that Grand
Juror members were denied their authority and right to cross
examine witnesses without clearing questions through the
prosecutors first -- a process which, if and when approved,
prohibited additional questioning beyond a first even where a
response would raise other questions, because the witness was no
longer present. Since the answer to a question would indeed
typically begat additional questions, the process was severely
curtailed in effectiveness towards reaching the truth. The jury
apparantly had their own questions about the bomb make up,
because even to them, it was clear that based on the facts as
presented, a nitrate-based bomb would not have left pillars closest
to ground zero standing while knocking down identical pillars
further away. The Jury asked repeatedly to question bomb experts
and construction engineers about these issues, but were denied the
opportunity by prosecution, until finally, one was brought in to
avoid mutiny. The jury found his testimony shaded and
unbelievable, despite a long list of credentials. The jury felt he was
probably a CIA type on a mission to cloud the issue, and the juror
later discovered he was indeed a CIA agent.
The notion of the bomb type proposed by Thorpe seemed far more
solid than anything the government claimed. The final straw was in
the form of a hypothetic regarding the possible use of the same
technology in the Trade Center Bombing. There, the device as
described would not be used in the same configuration, for there
was no "sky" within which to create a cloud. However, with some
modification, the device could be triggered in such a way as to
release the cloud radially rather than vertically, filling the air space
within the basement parking structure in a suitable fashion. The
final detonation there, would likely have been peripherally ignited
at simultaneous multiple points. A cloud peripheral detonation
would cause the pressure to grow progressively as it raced inward
to the center, driving the oxygenated explosive masses tightly
together at the center.
As experienced in the Trade Center, this would create a significant
blast force focused both downward and upward. Again, as in
Oklahoma, there would be a pronounced sphere of destruction, as
was indeed found in the Trade Center, where the blast punched
through several layers of concrete floors in both directions. Again,
as in Oklahoma, there would be no flash burns associated with
incomplete combustion of the fuel-oil/fertilizer combination. All of
these things coincided with Meresco's original concerns over the
Trade Center. Thorpe speculated that the van itself had been
somehow transformed into the bomb casing, using its doors and
windows, and perhaps scores cut into its walls, as directional vents
for the expanding cloud. Jim was less certain about that notion, but
acknowledged that a design varient of METC could account for
many of his own misgivings about the WTC.
But there was yet another matter which Meresco found particularly
interesting. Thorpe had apparently acquired knowledge from an
unnamed source in the intelligence community about a curiosity.
Jim was keenly aware of the facts of the matter, and surprised that
Thorpe was able to know such intimate details about the internal
matters of the FBI investigation of the Trade Center. Thorpe knew,
for instance, that a certain lawyer with engineering expertise had
been consulting with the FBI and working closely on the
investigation. He knew only the man's initials as L.R. (fn20)
Meresco recognized the description as fitting just such a man
representing the insurance company covering the huge, dual-
monolith structure. Thorpe also knew that Karl Koch Erecting
(fn21) was the steel fiter involved in the structural building of the
towers - a firm access to detailed plans as to the structure's internal
support layout.
What made this information curious, according to the tip from the
unnamed source, was that several months prior to the bombing, a
KKE subcontractor employee was reported missing by his family.
Police found his car abandoned at the docks. Inside, an open
briefcase was found, its contents spilled on the floorboard. Among
the contents was an empty folder labeled "WORLD TRADE
CENTER". Clipped to this was a note reading "For L.R. - Midnight
- $10K".
The informant, a man claiming intelligence community ties from
whom he had obtained the information by stealth at great peril, had
presented this information to Thorpe along with a series of simple
questions: "What if the contents of the folder were copies of
structural engineering plans for the World Trade Center? Could
such plans be used to place a bomb to achieve a specific end, and
would that be worth $10,000 to someone? What if the L.R.
receiving the plans was the same L.R. working closely with FBI at
the scene? Would this enable him to derail any detection of
strategic bomb placement and type? Would the danger of
prosecution by ability to tie any such plans to L.R. be sufficient
cause for the missing man to vanish by means unknown? Would
this also be sufficient cause for persons unknown to alter police
files such that all references to the original briefcase findings were
subsequently removed? Why would the intelligence community
have this information in the first place unless it held some
significance? Want to take a wild stab at guessing that
significance? If you do, you probably better not talk about it
openly..."
Jim was not deeply involved with the "L.R." man, whom he barely
recalled as being told was on site a couple of times. But he did
know that at least one FBI report he had read had concluded that
the bomb placement had been perilously close to a critical
structural point, but that the bomb had apparently been placed as to
suggest this was coincidence, and not a point intentionally targeted
-- as it would have been a simple matter to place the bomb more
effectively. Jim resolved to more carefully review these issues if he
could once more access to the material -- something not now very
likely unless he could talk a former friend still in FBI to risk their
retirement pension. Thorpe was clearly breaking new ground and
renewing Jim's passion for finding a solution.

Compartmentalization is a CIA technique designed to prevent other
members within the same agency from knowing what is going on
within the department. Based on a need to know and a right to
know basis, it keeps the left hand from knowing what the right
hand is doing. It also allows abuse of the system and provides a
means for cover up.
16 They may have turned up later at yet a third proprietary: Michael
Riconosciuto had a relationship with Meridian Arms, a spooky
company whose leadership and influentials included Dr. Harry Fair
of Defense Advanced Research Project Agency, Intelligence
operative Robert B. Nichols (thought to be the Hercules manager) -
- an operation which supposedly failed shortly after the theft of
bomb making components. In any event, Michael was no longer
involved with the company due to a falling out with his partners
prior to the theft, a matter which may have percipitated theft of
their partner's technology. Yet another possibility is Inter-Probe,
Inc., headed by retired Admiral, Henry Renkin, where many of
Michael's patents were handled as if corporate property. The same
year the bomb technology was stolen, Michael's boss and CIA
director, William Casey, died "of natural causes" -- a convenient
situation as his burial also helped further bury the operation from
view. It is interesting to note that retired CIA Director, William
Colby, suffered a fatal fishing trip after the revelations by Michael
to Ted Gunderson (more below) went public. Perhaps this, too, was
convenient.
17 Internet material from Ted L. Gunderson Report, former FBI
agent investigating irregularities in Oklahoma City bombing who
interviewed Michael Riconosciuto, Court documents regarding
Michael Riconosciuto testimony about his CIA activities,
Archieves on Audio regarding same. A young research scientist
named Michael Riconosciuto was raised into the CIA by his
OSS/CIA father where he worked for CIA's William Casey at both
Hercules and for another CIA proprietary operation involving
Wackenhut and the Cabazon indian reservations. Michael has
testified under oath that while he was Head of Research for the CIA
front, "The Wackenhut-Cabazon joint venture", which sought to
develop and/or manufacture certain materials that are used in
military and national security operations, including night vision
goggles, machine guns (illegal Ingram 9mm knockoffs without
serial numbers, by chance?), fuel-air explosives (as discussed here,
by chance?), and biological and chemical warfare weapons (similar
to those used in the plot herein, by chance?)." Micheal's testimony
involved revelations and accusations of murder and other high
crimes by Wackenhut operatives, as well as other revelations
regarding many sensitive matters to which Michael was privy. The
nature of the fuel-air explosives has been described as "extremely
high-tech and unusually powerful -- SCI Special Ticket" -- just as
used to describe the stolen technology by Hercules representatives.
Shortly after the Oklahoma bombing Michael Riconoscuito
revealed to Gunderson that "that bomb was one of mine."

19 This section derived from Jon Rappoport Interview (found on
Internet) with Grand Jury witness, Hoppy Heidelberg, who violated
legal secrecy requirments in order to tell the truth. The juror
approached the New York Times, Time and Newsweek, with the
story, but was ignored. After being scheduled for appearance on
20/20, Dateline and a whole series of other television programs, she
was canceled without explanation. There has been an organized
effort to discredit the juror including efforts by the Governor of
Oklahoma, but when personal friends and others came forward to
defeat what they described as a smear campaign, local efforts were
thwarted. Rappoport has written a book, Oklahoma City Bombing -
The Suppressed Truth. His conclusion in attempting to rectify
contradictory facts without apparant knowledge of the METC
alternative, follows General Parton's bombs placed internally within
the building theory.
